As a bonafide pop culture icon, J.Lo is no stranger to being the face of an ad campaign — the 52-year-old singer and actress has worked with brands like Coach, GUESS, Goli, and Versace.
However, after working with so many brands over the last three decades, it makes sense that Jennifer Lopez is also no stranger to a bit of scandal.

In her most recent advertising partnership, Jennifer Lopez has teamed up with legendary fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana to model their newest eyewear collection.
Lopez is a well-known lover of shades and eyeglasses. Her sexy, yet timeless look lends itself perfectly to the campaign.
First debuted during their Spring/Summer 2022 show, the collection is heavily inspired by the over-the-top glamour of the early 2000s, tapping into the hugely popular Y2K fashion trends.

Shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the campaign puts J.Lo front in center in a number of gorgeous compositions. In one photo the star shared to her Instagram, she is clad head-to-toe in lacy black lingerie and absolutely dripping in gold D&G jewels.
In others, she classes it up with 42-year-old British model David Gandy, both looking the epitome of chic in perfectly tailored black business suits and matching eyeglasses. Dolce & Gabbana’s eyewear collection that Lopez sports is now available on the brand’s website, Sunglass Hut, and LensCrafters.

As gorgeous as the glasses are, we are still wondering why J.Lo is working with the brand at all after Stefano Gabbana’s alleged racist remarks were exposed and D&G was blasted by notorious fashion Instagram page, Diet Prada, for their “stereotypical and sexist depiction of a Chinese woman” in a 2018 ad campaign.
The brand did issue a public apology, but then turned around and filed a $3.5 million dollar lawsuit against Diet Prada for “defamation”.

“This lawsuit is outrageous, on a number of levels,” Susan Scafidi, founder of the Fashion Law Institute at Fordham Law School, told Insider.
“Ethically, how does a company publicly apologize, then quietly turn around and bring a lawsuit?”
It’s a shock that Jenny from the Block would even consider working with the brand in the first place. Perhaps she was fooled by the rocks that she got.
Jennifer Lopez is known for her ability to create head-turning looks. She always makes an outfit fabulous, be it jeans and shirt combos or dresses.
To the May 2014 ‘American Idol’ Season 13 Top 4 live performance show, J.Lo showed up in another breathtaking ensemble.

She was the epitome of springtime glamour in a very feminine Asos skater dress featuring lace overlay on the bodice and long sleeves and a miniskirt. Her softer makeup and messy updo went well with her bright and colorful outfit.
Critics said that this look was too twee for the then 44-year-old recording artist. J.Lo indeed looked younger than her age in her pink-and-peach fit-and-flare dress, but we think Jennifer pulled it off. She clearly defined spring fashion in this number.
Her Sophia Webster “Phoebe” sandals are equally divine. Available at Saks Fifth Avenue and Ssense, they perfectly matched her dress and complemented her chic spring look.
