When we thought Lindsay Lohan was getting back on the fashion track, she did this. Ladies, this is why you should practice how to wear your clothes and assess every angle to ensure you are decent enough to be seen by the rest of the world.

At first glance, the 27-year-old Mean Girls actress looks fashionable, befitting the event she attended. The sheer trench dress and coat look is a sterling idea many fashion-forward ladies have already tried.
But what made this look such a failure was how awkwardly Lindsay prevented the sheer trench dress from exposing her nether region.

She kept her hand in her pocket almost the entire time, and it was downright unsightly. We had to resist the urge to cringe at how she handled this fashion faux pas.

It’s too bad Lindsay didn’t have the foresight to wear better underclothing, or she would have looked stunning that night. That sheer coat from DKNY is a statement-maker. Her choice of footwear, a pair of pumps with a red stripe at the back, was also spot-on.
What about you? What would you have done differently if you were the one wearing this DKNY piece?

She should have followed the model’s example and let the flaps of the trench dress overlap. If she truly wanted more coverage, a slip mini dress underneath would have done her a world of good. Here are some other similar options that we hope you’ll like:
