Lena Dunham dropped by the “Late Night with Seth Meyers” NYC studios on Wednesday night for a guest appearance.
The 29-year-old actress looked to be very much in the spring spirit in a floral-embroidered Simone Rocha dress. Sheer nude fabric and a peplum at the hips heightened the frock’s dainty, feminine flair. Perfectly complementing Lena’s look were Nicholas Kirkwood “Origami” pumps with triple bow details at the back of the heels. The shoes also feature low-cut vamps covered with clear panels that showcase plenty of toe cleavage.

The Nicholas Kirkwood pumps were already the perfect match for the dress, so we don’t understand why Lena decided to change out of them.
But, for the 2016 Hollywood Reporter’s Most Powerful People in New York Media event earlier that evening, Lena ditched the pumps and wore Freda Salvador’s “Sleek” python-print ankle boots instead. The brown snake pattern of the shoes and the questionable choice of maroon socks looked so jarring with everything else. The pistachio green fur coat could’ve been a quirky addition, but it just ended up making the entire ensemble look even more confusing.
