Lena Dunham’s style can best be compared to a roller coaster ride: Lots of ups and downs with no end in sight. Unfortunately, it was a down moment for the actress-slash-screenwriter at the “My Art” premiere held during the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival last Saturday. The “Girls” star arrived wearing a spaghetti-strapped maxi dress with an ugly abstract print and an unflattering blouson at the gathered waist.
Even if Lena paired her dress with the very hot and very much in-demand Fenty Puma by Rihanna bow sneakers, the olive green color of the shoes didn’t match her dress, and did nothing to help the overall look.
Lena completed her questionable styling with stringy bangs and a long gold chain with a huge amethyst rock pendant strung around her neck.

Lena Dunham can bring the glam if she wants to, like she did at Variety’s Power Of Women event in New York on Friday. Her outfit at that event consisted of a silver long-sleeved dress, black slingback pumps, retro bangs and cat eyeliner. It was definitely one of her “up” moments.

If you feel like Lena Dunham didn’t do justice to the Fenty Puma by Rihanna bow sneakers, you can try styling them yourself by grabbing a pair in olive green, pink, blush or lavender for $160 at Nordstrom, Amazon, Farfetch and Zappos.
