Many raised their eyebrows when Lindsay Lohan appeared for ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’ taping yesterday. The day before, she was scheduled to appear for a deposition, but the controversial actress was a no-show.

I understand why she is more psyched to appear at a talk show than at a deposition. She is promoting Scary Movie 5, her first movie in a long while.
The Saturday Night Live guest host didn’t star in it, though. She only made a cameo appearance—a small role but a marked improvement to her less-than-stellar acting career in the past few years.
Lindsay even dolled up for the occasion wearing this outfit:

Lace and leather? Could this be Lindsay’s personality seeping through her clothing choices? Tough meets sweet?
Whatever it is, lace and leather are always an interesting combination. The cute leather high-waisted skirt served to tamper with the saccharine sweetness of the cropped lace top. Lindsay’s skirt is from Olcay Gulsen:

This Olcay Gulsen creation boasts a flared shape with an asymmetrical hem. Leather can be challenging, but this piece is made of soft, glazed cowhide leather.
For all you fans of flared skirts, this is a must-have. I’m a fan of its shape and unique hem detail. There are also other cute leather skirts you can try wearing if you want to copy Lindsay’s all-black ensemble. Try pairing these leather skirts with lace tops:

Leather skirts are pretty versatile. You can even wear sneakers and graphic tees with them for a filthy, 90’s vibe, just like what’s popular right now.
