Talk about a baptism into the Met Gala. Kylie Jenner pulled off her first experience at the Met with flying colors (or rather glittering crystals), but it wasn’t without its hardships.

It’s been said that fashion is worth suffering for, and Kylie’s bleeding leg seemed to attest to that statement. Before the incident, Kylie wowed the crowd with her Met Gala red carpet debut in New York.

Kylie joined the rest of her family (save for Kendall) to form a Balmain army for the night.
The 18-year-old wore a fully embellished sheer dress that left little to the imagination — not that we’re not used to it by now. To finish her all-silver look, Kylie wore Aquazzura ” Linda ” sandals.

Kylie documented her first Met Gala on Snapchat (of course), showing off her bleeding leg and purple feet. But Kylie said it was all worth it. Check out her Met Gala snaps below:
As she revealed on Snapchat, the gown scratched her. Additionally, her Aquazurra shoes contributed to minor injuries.
“When your dress made you bleed and your feet are purple,” she captioned a photo of her scratches and bruises. “It was worth it, though,” Kylie added.
