Don’t you just love it when a typical afternoon of clicking around on the Internet leads you to something you’ve been looking for forever?
That happened to us today, and we had to immediately share the results with the rest of the YNS community. An utterly unrelated search magically turned up these heart-cutout platform sandals from Kurt Geiger that we’ve been crushing on for some time now:
KG Kurt Geiger “Kitty” Sandals, $208.94
We still can’t get enough of the suede heart appliqués placed on the vinyl upper. And the tiny gold star on each sole only made us love these sandals even more!
The “Kitty” sandals are relatively inexpensive for shoes from a luxury shoe retailer at $208.94. Girly girls will love that they also come in very pretty pink leather.
We found out who makes these sandals, but we also learned about an awkward social situation involving them.
You may still remember that we first spotted these sandals on British singer Preeya Kalidas at the 2013 Brit Awards.

The English singer and actress paired them with this sexy pleated leather dress and an ultra-long fishtail braid:

Ashley Roberts, a former Pussycat Dolls member, also wore these sandals, but what made things awkward was that she also wore them to the very same 2013 Brit Awards.

It’s good she styled them with this long strapless dress with a semi-sheer overlay, so the sandals were at least somewhat covered.

Turning up wearing the same shoes is not quite the same as wearing the same dress, but you know how competitive these high-profile red carpet events can be.
How would you react if you saw someone in the same shoes you were wearing on a special occasion?
