Woody Allen may have gotten fame as a comedian, but he quickly made a name for himself in the filmmaking circle for his directorial work ethic. Kristen Stewart, Woody’s latest project in the film “Cafe Society,” said the director would usually shoot scenes in two takes, leaving the actress wondering if she did a terrible job.
Kristen spoke about her experience on the “Cafe Society” set at its premiere in New York.

In proper Chanel ambassador form, Kristen wore a quirky dress from the Chanel Fall 2016 collection.

The dress featured extended leather cuffs, a neckline with eyelets, and waist cutouts. The rest of the dress was sheer, mixing pleats and ruffles. The Chanel emblem was repeatedly embroidered on the skirt.

Even though we have the utmost respect for Mr. Karl Lagerfeld, Kristen’s dress was terrible — and we’re being nice about it. Luckily, Kristen’s personality carried this look for her.

In her interview, Kristen Stewart shared her initial uncertainty about the film’s process, noting how Woody Allen’s preference for minimal takes left her wondering about the quality of her performance. However, upon reflection, she appreciated the authenticity and momentary nature of the scenes, mirroring real life.
She found wearing historically accurate costumes and working with a well-crafted script incredibly enriching for her acting. Stewart also mentions Allen’s joyous reaction when she connected deeply with her character’s emotions, adding a natural and genuine layer to her performance.
