This was a special moment for the couple with both receiving their first Oscar nomination for their work in The Power of the Dog.
Kirsten Dunst had been nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role, playing Rose Gordon, and Jesse was nominated for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his portrayal of George Burbank.
The film has been a resounding success and has been nominated for 12 Oscars, including Best Picture.

The couple first started dating in 2016 after meeting on the Fargo set and got engaged in 2017 after Jesse popped that all-important question.
While not officially married yet, she and Jesse refer to each other as “husband and wife.”
“We call each other husband and wife. But we have to get married at this point. It’s ridiculous. We just haven’t planned a wedding,” Kirsten told The Los Angeles Times last month.
“There was COVID, then we had another child. I didn’t want to be pregnant, get married, have a party and not be able to have fun with everybody.”

We don’t think it really matters what Kirsten wears as that captivating smile of hers will win no matter what.
But if there was ever a dress that could match that smile she managed to find it for this special day. Kirsten looked spectacular in her breathtaking, strapless red tulle Christian Lacroix gown which was accessorized with sparkling diamond earrings by Fred Leighton.
She finished off her look with understated makeup and an elegant updo. She may not have won the Oscar but she definitely won on the red carpet!

Like we’ve said over and over again, the Emmys are a time for celebrities to bring their fashion A-game.
It can be a challenge, and at times stars make the wrong bold choices, like Sarah Hyland and her pantsuit. However, sometimes they make the right ones – like Kirsten Dunst at the 2016 Emmy Awards.
Kirsten’s style was on point at the amFAR Gala and the CFDA Awards. We were really glad to see that the Emmys were no exception for the actress.

The Interview with the Vampire star paired her embellished gown with Roger Vivier’s “Marlene” double-strap pumps that featured crystal detailing on the heels.

Since both her dress and shoes already shimmered, the then 34-year-old accessorized with just a pair of simple earrings.

The “Marlene” pumps are no longer available online. However, we did find a similar style from Roger Vivier available for purchase at Nordstrom and Mytheresa.
