Look, there’s nothing wrong with color coordinating. Most people like to match their shoes to their belt or tie together their home decor with a painting that brings out the red tones in a rug.
However, some people are a bit more committed (read: rich) than others. Specifically, Kim Kardashian revealed in a Vogue interview that she has spent gargantuan amounts making sure that everything in her home (and in her garage) is as matchy-matchy as can be.

In the interview, Kardashian gives Vogue a tour of her home, showing off family scrapbooks, knick-knacks, and oh, yeah, her luxury cars.
Over the years, Kim has managed to amass an impressive collection of luxury cars, including five Maybach SUVs, Lamborghinis, and Rolls-Royces, amounting to a car collection worth roughly $3.8 million.
In Vogue’s interview, she showed off three of her favorites; a Lamborghini, a Rolls-Royce, and a Maybach.
“I put out my three faves,” Kim says in the Vogue interview. “My Lamborghini Urus, which it has this kit on the front of it so it looks a little different. My Rolls-Royce is gray also, it’s a ghost, it has the cutest little crystal lady and I just think that’s so unique. And then my favorite baby ever, ever, ever is the Maybach sedan, I love everything about it, I loved painting the emblem gray. If I were to pick one, that’s my baby right there.”
Watching the interview, you may notice that Kim’s cars all look very similar and seem to match her home — you would be correct.
The reality TV star revealed that she had each of these three cars custom painted in the same “ghost gray” color in order to (wait for it) match her mansion.
TMZ did some digging and found out that each of these custom paint jobs, done by Platinum Motorsports in Los Angeles, cost Kardashian roughly $100,000 dollars.
Though this may seem steep, you have to consider that each car must be deconstructed, each part painted individually, then reconstructed — with this whole process taking more than a month — before it can be perfect.

Kim’s Lamborghini Urus took extra time due to its intricate design, which TMZ’s sources say that Kim was very involved during the painting process and knew exactly what she was getting into.
“I’ve always been a car girl,” Kim said during her Vogue interview. “I love cars and I really wanted something different, I wanted my cars to kind of blend in. My house is gray and I wanted them to kind of match the house, so I did all gray cars instead of my typical matte silver that I used to do.”
We love color coordinating as much as anybody, but you would think that Kim Kardashian would have better things to spend her money on.
Taking a cue from Amber Rose, in June 2018 Kim Kardashian showed up with a major toe overhang and scratched the carpet with her feet at the 2018 CFDA Fashion Awards held at the Brooklyn Museum in New York City.

The ShoeDazzle founder received the inaugural Influencer Award at the star-studded gathering.
During her acceptance speech, she reflected on a former publicist who told her she’d never make an impact in the fashion world.

“I’m kind of shocked that I’m winning a fashion award when I’m naked most of the time,” the reality star joked on stage. “This is seriously such an honor.”
After making it big following the release of her sex tape, Kim sent her former publicist an autographed copy of her April 2014 Vogue cover.

Joined by her sister Kourtney in Giuseppe Zanotti’s sculpted ‘G Heel’ sandals, she styled her outfit with chunky gold jewelry and Yeezy sandals. Luckily it’s easy to keep your shoes from slipping off your feet when you walk.
