While guest co-hosting “The View” in August 2015, Kelly Osbourne made a comment on Latinos that many considered racist.
“If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump? You know what I mean?” Osbourne said in an attempt to call out the Republican presidential candidate. One month earlier, the future US president faced massive backlash after saying in a speech that Mexicans sent “rapists” into the U.S.
Kelly Osbourne has apologized over racist comment about Latinos ‘cleaning your toilet’
“No, that’s not… no,” interrupted co-host Rosie Perez, who is of Puerto Rican descent, continuing, “There are more jobs than that in the country for Latinos, and Latinos are not the only people who clean toilets.”
Osbourne quickly backtracked: “I didn’t mean it like that, come on. I would never mean it like that. I’m not part of this argument.”
“I think what you’re trying to say is that Trump probably relies on the people he’s insulting,” added co-host Michelle Collins.
Rosie Perez accused Kelly Osbourne of making racist comments on The View
Later in the show, Perez apologized and clarified her earlier statement: “I want to apologize to this young woman once again for being overly sensitive…Kelly Osbourne is on our side, and I was sensitive. My disdain should only go to Donald Trump, so I’m sorry, darling.”
Osbourne later regretted the incident and shared an apology on Facebook: “I want to start by saying I ALWAYS take responsibility for my actions. In this particular case, I will take responsibility for my poor choice of words but I will not apologize for being a racist as I am NOT,” she wrote, continuing, “I whole-hearted fucked up today. I don’t want to bullshit anyone with lame excuses.”
“Although, I was stopped mid-sentence by Rosie and couldn’t finish my point I will not let Rosie take responsibility for my words. I should have known better as I was on The View and it was live. I’ve learned a very valuable lesson. It is my hope that this situation will open up a conversation about immigration and the Latin community as a whole. By the way, I clean my own fucking toilets.”
Twenty years ago, the world knew Kelly Osbourne as the out-of-control teenage daughter of rock god Ozzy. She looked gloomy, had little to no fashion sense, and cussed like a sailor.

Fast forward to now, the reality star has bloomed into a mature young woman who is known for her unique but chic fashion style. She has given up her bad habits, has lost about 70 pounds, and has a thriving career.
Purple-haired Kelly Osbourne in a black leather dress
In August 2013, the then 28-year-old E! Fashion Police host attended BeautyCon in LA, and she was stunning in a sexy leather dress.
Kelly also showcased her new blunt fringe hairstyle, which we just adore. We love that she still keeps some elements of her punk/goth roots (hence, the purple hair) and incorporates them into her more fashionable style.
She has definitely transformed into a swan — an edgy purple-haired swan.
Here are two great alternatives to Kelly’s leather dress from Shopbop and Nasty Gal:

A leather bodice and an exposed back zip keep the look tough, while princess seams and a slim, ribbed skirt create a polished profile
