The annual Met Gala never fails to wow us with its best and worst looks, which we tend to remember for a whole year until the next Met event.
While this year’s affair certainly gave us a fair share of standout heels and glamorous ensembles, a few ladies stood out for all the wrong reasons.

Katie Holmes, known for always wearing prim and sophisticated dresses, turned things up a bit in the spirit of the event and wore an utterly befuddling dress that earned her the “Worst Dressed” title for the night.

Wearing a mustard yellow Marchesa gown, it seemed like Katie was channeling Belle of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ but fell short of impressing the crowd. The puffy ball gown drowned her out, and her messy beach waves were out of place, too.

What do you think of this red carpet look?

The dress had a crinkly satin skirt, red beading that resembled a blood stain, and a tight bodice cinching her waist. She accessorized with Harry Winston jewels.
