The then-25-year-old American model and actress, who recently appeared as a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race, was joined by Alexandre Birman at the event.

It was the Brazilian shoe designer’s first Met Gala, and he designed Kate’s shoes after seeing the Swarovski-encrusted crown she’d be wearing.
