English supermodel Kate Moss’s agency lists her height as 5ft 7.5 (171 cm). However, in a 1999 interview, she once admitted to being 5ft 6 in (167.6 cm), suggesting the importance of height in the modeling industry.

“In the beginning, my agent said to me, ‘If you were two inches higher, you’d have two more zeroes at the end of your bank account.’ I was five foot six and if I was five foot eight and had, say, a 4B cup, then I would have been fine,” Moss admitted.

While many believe she catapulted to fame with the Calvin Klein campaign, her journey wasn’t straightforward, given her shorter stature than most models.

The fashion industry is known for its fickle nature. It often shuns celebrities before later embracing them, as with Kim Kardashian.

Though petite by modeling standards, Moss transformed perceptions in the industry, not just with her looks but also with her business acumen. Her ability to stay relevant and transform from a tabloid sensation to a respected figure is commendable.

Despite her success, Moss’s height remains a topic of discussion, leading many aspiring models to believe they can achieve similar heights in the industry despite not fitting the conventional tall model archetype.

While she may claim to be taller in interviews, Kate Moss’s actual height is estimated to be 5ft 5 ½ in (166.4 cm), slightly above the average British woman’s height. She wears a shoe size 9 (US), and Christian Louboutin designed the So Kate pumps with her in mind.

On Your Next Shoes, the relatively petite supermodel can be seen boosting her height in heels from shoe brands like Christian Louboutin, Stuart Weitzman, Saint Laurent, Isabel Marant, and Gucci.
