In November 2013, the Duchess of Cambridge was spotted attending the Only Connect charity event in North London. Tongues wagged as soon as the royal stepped out in an outfit that was all too familiar. You see, Kate wore the same ensemble in February of the previous year.

The brown patterned frock from Orla Kiely (a dress that sold out in minutes) was very hard to miss. And while celebrities who repeat outfits usually wear them with different accessories the second time, Kate wore hers with the same shoes and clutch.
We highly doubt it was a frugal move on her part. We think she was being herself. She probably felt the outfit was perfect for the occasion, so why not wear it again?

If you look at these pictures without reading the captions, you can hardly tell which photos are from what year because she looks the same.
She even wore the same pair of stockings and the same hairstyle! Do you think you’ll be able to spot a difference (save for the background, of course)?

Now, on to Kate’s shoes. Can you guess which label those ankle boots are from?
They’re from Aquatalia by Marvin K. — one of her favorite brands. The “Royalty” features genuine suede leather uppers detailed with buckles and stretchy panels that allow the shafts to fit snugly around your ankles. We understand why Kate loves wearing Aquatalia boots. They’re elegant and classic, and they fit narrow calves best.
Kate’s espresso-colored shoes can be purchased on Amazon. These boots are also available in smooth black and brown calf leather. They’re a bit pricey, though, so be ready to splurge.

Kate Middleton’s affinity for Aquatalia footwear is well-documented. In October 2012, Kate attended the official opening of St. George’s Park in England, pairing her classic trench coat and black tights ensemble with the sleek and weatherproof Aquatalia ‘Rhumba’ boots. These knee-high boots, made from water-resistant suede leather, feature a 12-inch opening ideal for narrow calves, combining functionality with elegance.
