Kate Hudson was spotted looking cheerful in a colorful outfit as she made the rounds on the media circuit on Thursday to discuss her new music career.
After entering the entertainment business in 1996, the 44-year-old Hollywood star has gone on to become one of the most popular and successful actresses of all time, receiving multiple nominations and awards over the course of her career.
Not wanting to have any regrets in life, the Almost Famous actress has decided to add recording artist to her already impressive resume, in addition to her prosperous acting career.

Speaking with Savannah Guthrie on Today Show, Hudson said, “I’ve always loved to sing, and it’s something I’m gonna just put out there.”
“I always said like with music when people would ask me if I’m ever going to do it, for me, if I’m gonna do it, I’m really gonna do it, I’m going to really commit to the process. There’s nothing half-a**ed about my relationship with music.”

Her striped knit sweater came in an array of vivid colors, including purple, yellow, pink, red, and orange, and had shimmering cuffs and thin lines of glittery thread, giving it a festive vibe. Its structured puff shoulders added to its flattering silhouette.
Hudson teamed her colorful top with a long denim skirt that featured a daring center front slit, reaching the top of her thighs.
For some coverage, she wore sheer black tights underneath and rounded out her chic cold-weather ensemble with over-the-knee black boots with pointed toes and high wedge heels.

Kate Hudson looked cozy outside the studio as she layered her vibrant sweater underneath a thick lambskin and lamb fur coat from Marni’s Fall/Winter 2019 collection.
The thick outerwear, which featured contrasting beige, black, and brown panels, long, wide sleeves with brown cuffs, a black collar, and a midi length, perfectly captured the whimsical, quirky silhouettes synonymous with the Italian luxury fashion house.

Hudson kept her essentials in a structured embroidered tote bag from the family-run Italian fashion house Etro, known for its vivid colors, patterns, and nature-themed designs.
The brand’s signature is evident in Hudson’s logo-embroidered jacquard tote, currently on sale for $1,290 (from $2,150) at Farfetch. It comes in a blue, cotton blend, full jacquard Pegaso motif with piped-trim detailing, flat top handles, and striped lining.
Hudson added a few rings to complete her fun yet stylish ensemble. Her blown-out hairstyle and flawless, radiant makeup rounded out her glam appearance. She wore subtle smokey eyeshadow, mascara, light pink blush, and nude pink lipstick.

Kate Hudson Hints at Upcoming Album Release
It’s going to be a big year for Kate Hudson, who’s expanding her career as a recording artist this 2024.
The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days actress teased her fans on Monday when she shared a carousel of photos and videos of her singing in front of a crowd on December 28 at the Bad Harriet lounge in the Hotel Jerome in Aspen, Colorado.
“Well, on the eve of a new year, I say bring on 2024! I vow to sing and play and love and sing and love some more,” she captioned her post.
“Life is too short to not lean in to the things you love. Art art and more art. Entertainment and places and outlets we can lose ourselves in. We need it and I’m here for it. So here’s to looking forward and not backward. Love you all and hope you join me on this adventure cause a winds a blowing and I’m going with it.”

Back in December, Hudson told Jimmy Fallon on his show that she wanted to live her life with no regrets.
“You know, I had this thing [during] COVID… Every time you’re doing interviews, people are like, ‘Do you have any regrets?’ I go, ‘I’m early 40s… not yet.’ But during COVID, I was like, ‘You know, what am I doing?’”
She teased a possible musical career, saying she’s “been making a record for like a year,” adding that she’s been writing songs since she was 19 but “never shared” them.
“I just thought that would be one of my great regrets. I have no expectations. I just want to put a record out, and so I’m doing it. And I’m really proud of it. I can’t wait,” adding that it will be released “next year.”
She shared photos of herself singing in a practice studio, captioned, “Finally realized it’s time to say f#%! it and saaaannngg!!!!!” with the hashtags #albumincoming and #myikigai, which translates to “reason for being.”
