Although it’s not cold in New York City, Kate Hudson wore a knit dress on the red carpet for the premiere of her movie, The Reluctant Fundamentalist, at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival earlier this month.

Joined on the red carpet by her co-star Riz Ahmed, she completed the look with ivory pumps from Casadei and a black Jimmy Choo ‘Carmen’ clutch.

The dress isn’t like any usual knit dress for casual wear. As you can see, it’s perfect for a red carpet event. It looks elegant in white, and the patterns make for a luxurious feel.

The only thing I’m worried about is whether this knee-length dress made Kate feel hot or not. It features a high collar and long sleeves that are more appropriate for winter. In either event, the ‘Raising Helen’ star looked great and undoubtedly captured much attention in her outfit.
