Kate Hudson was launched as an actress for her groundbreaking performance in the film Almost Famous, in which she plays a groupie in the ’70s. Hudson in hippie outfits has become an iconic image, and in this vintage-looking dress, we can’t help but feel a bit nostalgic.
We’re not sure if this is part of the movie’s wardrobe or just her own, but it looks great! She even matched it with a short-strapped, fringed bag—a must in every hippie outfit.

‘Wish I Was Here’, a Kickstarter-funded project, has Hudson’s good friend Zach Braff as the director. He also acts in the movie, playing Kate’s husband.
This film is about a struggling actor and father of two who daydreams about being a futuristic Space Knight. The campaign, backed by over 40,000 fans, will be out next year.
