We can’t for the life of us figure out why anyone would wear ill-fitting shoes. They’re uncomfortable, hard to walk in and just straight-up look bad. However, Kate Bosworth decided to face the risks and wear a too-large pair of shoes to the recently concluded National Geographic Further Fronts event held at the Jazz Lincoln Center in New York City.
The star attended the network event to promote her upcoming miniseries on the Iraq War titled “Long Road Home” alongside other a-listers including Jason Ritter and Michael Kelly. She looked absolutely radiant in a dark green pleated dress from Rochas’ Autumn Winter 2017 collection. The draped midi covered up her petite frame, but accentuated her tiny waist.

However, Kate’s Rochas bow pumps — while cute — were obviously a size too big for her feet. The enormity of the shoes detracted from the bow details on the toes and the large embellished lettering and gold pin heels.

The 34-year-old accessorized with a small brown leather purse also from the same designer and gorgeous chandelier earrings. Kate finished her chic ensemble with equally sophisticated hair and makeup. Her blonde locks were styled in a sleek, straight ‘do and she opted for deep crimson lipstick.

Kate’s outfit was nearly perfect, had she just picked up the correct shoe size. We’ll let this one slide since the rest of her choices were flawless.
The Rochas bow pumps are no longer available online. However, there is a similar alternative available for purchase at Farfetch.
