Kate Bosworth’s height of 5 feet 5 inches (165.1 cm) is not considered particularly tall for a woman. Her shoe size is 8 (US).

In an October 2011 interview with The Times, Kate Bosworth discussed her return to LA with four film projects in progress. One of the first to be released was Straw Dogs, a remake of the 1971 classic, where she played Susan George’s character, who is gang-raped.
Alexander Skarsgård, who later became her boyfriend before they split in 2011, acted in the same intense scene with Bosworth. Reflecting on the experience, she described wanting the fear to feel real. It was a challenge made more palpable given Skarsgård’s towering 6’4″ height compared to her own shorter stature. Despite being commonly listed as 5’5″, Kate referred to herself as 5’3″ during the interview, possibly to emphasize the height difference with her co-star.
“I do remember telling Alex beforehand that we should just go for it, just make it really real. So we did. And he’s a big guy, 6ft 4in compared to my 5ft 3in, so it was, er, very real. That fear you see on the screen, it’s not made up,” she said. Kate Bosworth and Alexander Skarsgård dated from 2009 to 2011 after meeting on the set of the American action thriller Straw Dogs.
