While the rest of the stars who attended the 2010 Style Awards dolled up from head to toe with their high-definition makeup and pretty cocktail dresses, one celebrity kept it minimal and understated to a T – Kate Bosworth.
And by T, I literally mean to a T. She wore a very simple T-shirt-inspired combo dress from Jil Sander’s 2011 Spring Collection.

Kate Bosworth presented her stylist, Cher Coulter, with the Stylist of the Year award at the 2010 Hollywood Style Awards.
On top of that simplicity, she kept her face and hair clean, fashioning only a hint of pink on her lips and a tidy bun. She didn’t even have any accessories on!
The look may have required less work (effortless in every sense of the word!), but she certainly stood out among the celebrity crowd.
On anyone else, this kind of simplistic style worn to such an event would have failed. But Kate was able to carry it well with class. Some of you may find it too informal for such a social gathering as the Style Awards, but I am all for it.

If you like Kate’s dress, try visiting the nearest Jil Sander store in your area because it isn’t available online yet. Actually, I don’t think the collection is out yet, so you might have to wait a while.
You can also recreate the style with a tee and a maxi skirt. In the meantime, you can browse other dresses from Jil Sander at Farfetch.
