The light waves of her new hairstyle were on full display as she walked, turning heads and sparking conversations about her recent makeover.
Her hairstylist, Dimitris Giannetos, who has also worked his magic on Amal Clooney, Ciara, and Gigi Hadid, affectionately referred to the blonde bob as “BLOB,” debuting it at the Roger Vivier holiday dinner in Los Angeles on December 6.

Dimitris, the mastermind behind the transformation, shared his excitement on Instagram, posting a photo of the Jolt star showing off her fresh blond cut while donning a bold red pantsuit.
Reason Behind Kate Beckinsale’s Hair Transformation
In a recent interview with Glamour, Dimitris explained the decision to go blonde, stating, “We wanted to do a change with Kate right before holiday season, so why not to do “blob,” or a blonde bob, that highlights all her beautiful features?”
He praised the Pearl Harbor actress‘ versatile skin tone, adding, “Kate has a skin tone where any color can look incredible on her – especially a salted butter blonde.”
Speaking about the change, Kate told Extra on the pink carpet, “It’s nice to change it up sometimes.”
Reflecting on her gala experience, she expressed, “I’ve had the good fortune to be at three women only events in three days. It makes you feel like your cup is just a little bit fuller.”
Kate emphasized, “The collective, positive female energy in this industry, in a room, and being there is so nice.”
