Not even seasoned catwalk veteran Karlie Kloss can make us believe that her feet were not in pain in the Brian Atwood “Patty” pumps she wore to the Swarovski Times Square store opening! The 25-year-old model’s poor feet were bent at practically 90-degree angles in the steeply pitched heels and got no support at all from the open-side cut.
Previous wearers of the Brian Atwood “Patty” pumps Melissa Benoist and Elisabeth Moss didn’t fare so well either in their own pairs. “Supergirl” star Melissa could barely keep her tootsies from spilling out of of the d’Orsay design, while “Mad Men” actress Elisabeth had the balls of her feet turn almost as red as her own crimson pair.

Ever the professional, Karlie powered through the pain and dazzled partygoers in a shiny, pink Alex Perry dress with a ruffled skirt and a deep v-neckline. The Swarovski ambassador selected the gorgeous Swarovski “Luminous Fairy” earrings and the matching “Luminous Fairy” multi-colored ring as her accessories for that night. To keep the jewelry in the center stage, the former Victoria’s Secret Angel finished her look with a nondescript, black Saint Laurent blazer and the aforementioned Brian Atwood black patent pumps.

A few days earlier, Karlie fulfilled a different ambassador role as the face of Flatiron School at the New York tech school’s discussion panel in London, England. Talking about her Kode with Klossy coding scholarship, the supermodel dressed in a stereotypically tech industry uniform of a plain black t-shirt and black jeans. Still, she could not help but inject some of her high fashion background into her outfit and chose to top off with a Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini Pre-Fall 2017 green-and-pink plaid jacket.
A fun, pink suede pair of Stella Luna “Indispensable” ankle-strap pumps rounded out her look.
