It’s film festival season once again, which means it’s time for both gorgeous red carpet gowns and chic street styles.
On most days, Julianne Moore is a jeans-and-top kind of gal. The Venice Film Festival, however, was an entirely different style story.

Julianne showcased the first of her Italian styles as she greeted paparazzi aboard a boat. We wouldn’t exactly classify her outfit as nautical, which is all the more reason why we love it.
The actress defied outfit norms as she showed up in a dressy creation by Prada, which featured a mesh yoke that cut straight down to a feathered skirt. Layers scalloped mesh fabric lined the bottom.

Julianne sat down for panel and studio interviews to talk about “Suburbicon,” her latest crime comedy film with her co-star Matt Damon. The hunky George Clooney directed the two veteran actors.
The two couldn’t help but make fun of their director, revealing that the two allowed Clooney to give them instructions but would often end up doing the opposite.

Julianne ended the festival on a high note by wearing a beautiful Valentino Couture gown to the film’s red carpet premiere. The couture creation was a tent dress made out of a fringed metallic fabric, which cut away at the bodice to show off some skin. A thick black waistband added contrast to the look.
