If you’ve followed our coverage, you know our admiration for Joey King’s style. During Paris Fashion Week, she also lived up to our expectations. Her wardrobe selections are unique and chic and reflect her penchant for juxtaposing bold, contemporary, and daring elements.

Constantly offering something fresh to the table, King showed off her fashion prowess and her ability to pull off a range of hair colors, going from playboy blonde to platinum blonde, leaving a lasting impression. She truly is a style and hair chameleon.

Let’s look at Joey King’s hair and style transformation during Paris Fashion Week.

Joey King Channels Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian in Balenciaga Chainmail Top and Pantaboots

The Balenciaga Fall/Winter 2024 collection, designed by creative director Demna Gvasalia, highlights the art of transformation and rebirth. It draws connections between the label’s past and present while elevating tradition via technology. The collection features exaggerated silhouettes, deconstructed elements, and traditional monochromatic designs.

In keeping with the fashion house’s theme, Joey King dressed in the label’s party chainmail top and tight pantaboots, reminiscent of the early aughts party scene—imagine Paris Hilton in the early 2000s.

However, with her hair and accessories, I can’t help but imagine Kim Kardashian in her. Her whole ensemble appears to have been taken from Kim’s wardrobe!

The We Were the Lucky Ones star was difficult to miss in her shimmering silver chainmail top with a risque low-cut plunging cowl neckline, revealing her bosom. She was braless underneath, displaying her more daring style, which deviated from the cutesy looks we’d seen her wear as a child.

While my style doesn’t align with hers, I genuinely appreciate her transformation. She celebrates her physique with such confidence, which I adore.

The lower portion of her ensemble features the black silk Cosmetic Pantaboots, a classic Balenciaga design made famous by Kim Kardashian. I love how they wrap her toned legs, gracefully highlighting her physique.

They resemble a pair of skintight leggings with built-in pointed-toe pumps perched atop thin stiletto heels, boosting King’s 5’3” height by several inches.

Although I already love how stylish her outfit is for a party, The Princess star added a pop of color for a bit of zest. She accessorized with ruby and diamond jewelry from Italian luxury jewelry brand Pasquale Bruni’s Heart to Earth collection, handpicked by her go-to stylist Jared Eng.

She wore an 18k white gold bracelet set with 4.59ct. white diamonds and an oval ruby stone measuring 6x8mm. Her red-manicured hands, done by Imarni, were adorned with several rings, among them an 18k white gold ring set with an oval ruby and 1.47ct. diamonds.

Unfortunately, her long, wavy platinum tresses obscured her earringsa pair of flower earrings in 18k white gold with two 7x14mm ruby stones and 5.20ct. white diamonds.

Only a month after she debuted an extremely short bob at the Cannes Film Festival, King surprised me again with a new hairdo. This time, she wore a waist-length platinum blonde hair similar to Kim Kardashian’s, though evidently, it’s a wig, which stylist Dimitris Giannetos selected from What Wigs.

He created a sexy, disheveled, wavy look using the GHD 1” curling iron and enhanced the platinum hue with L’Oréal Paris Platinum Pearl Le Color Gloss.

The Kissing Booth actress channeled Kim Kardashian’s energy further by wearing minimal makeup courtesy of Polly Osmond. She enhanced her luminous complexion and used smudged eyeliner, mascara, and light eyeshadow to accentuate her blue eyes.

She then applied a light pink blush to her cheeks and finished her glam look with pale pink lipstick.

Joey King Goes Playboy Blonde in Givenchy Cage Pom Pom Dress

Paris Fashion Week is the perfect occasion for style experimentation. At the 2024 Vogue World: Paris, attended by Cara Delevingne and Diane Kruger, Joey King embraced her inner Playboy Playmate by wearing a white caged pom-pom dress and sporting a retro blonde hairstyle.

She looked sensational in the white dress Jared Eng selected from Givenchy’s Resort 2025 collection.

Its cage-like overlay, embellished with dazzling crystals and white pom poms that resemble Playboy rabbit tails, gives it a charming 1960s space-age feel. The futuristic piece is draped over a strapless white leather minidress that ends just above her knees.

It would have been more sensual if King hadn’t worn the white stockings, but she pulled it off anyway. I appreciate that she used a monochrome look to maintain the ensemble’s futuristic feel.

She teamed the exquisite dress with the white Le Silla “Ivy” pumps, made in Italy from “Paper” white patent calf leather. They have sharp, pointed toes and 4.7-inch stiletto heels, and their stylish scalloped edges only enhance their allure.

A versatile and timeless pair, these pumps are available for $831 at Farfetch.

Although I don’t think the ensemble needs any additional jewelry, Jared Eng chose to accentuate the sparkle with pieces from De Beers, a South African-British jewelry brand renowned for producing the finest diamond jewelry.

She wore the classic and elegant “Arpeggia” one-line earrings, priced at $34,900. They are made of 18k white gold and contain 60 diamonds weighing 4.74 carats. A single line of round brilliant diamonds is suspended from each larger prong-set diamond, resembling musical notes on a sheet, alluding to Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata.

On her pink-manicured hands, Joey wore the matching $11,500 “Arpeggia” 18k white gold ring adorned with 1.07 carats of natural diamonds. She added the $850 “RVL” 18k white gold band ring, which has a hidden diamond on the inside, and the $14,600 DB Classic Eternity Band in platinum with 2.66 carats of round brilliant diamonds placed in a refined prong setting to elevate each diamond.

King enhanced the space-age mood of the ensemble by chicly storing her essentials in Givenchy’s “Voyou” tiny bag made of crackle silver leather.

Joey King appeared in what Dimitris Giannettos calls “the playboy blonde” hairstyle. She looked gorgeous with her new hair color, which was achieved using Moroccanoil Treatment Purple. It’s reminiscent of the early 2000s with dark roots. Ilham Mestour gave her newly dyed hair a dramatic blowout and a deep side part, enhancing the retro appearance.

On the other hand, Polly Osmond emphasized her blue eyes with fluttery eyelashes that English model Twiggy inspired from the 1960s. She added pink lipstick and blush as simple finishing touches to her makeup.
