For a short moment this week, Jessica Hart was deep in hot water.
Apparently, the Victoria’s Secret model made some “undesirable” comments about Taylor Swift when someone asked her whether the pop star (who performed at the fashion show last month) could work it as a runway mannequin for the brand.

Jessica was quoted saying, “No … God bless her heart. I think she’s great … But I don’t know, to me, she didn’t fit.”
Soon after, a rumor circulated that Jessica’s wings were “clipped” by the lingerie giant for making such remarks. Of course, it was all just that — a rumor.

Honestly, we think she was simply misinterpreted. You have to admit, though, that she’s right. Taylor Swift is amazing. But with her good-girl image and squeaky-clean persona, we just can’t imagine Taylor strutting her stuff down the runway in nothing but her underwear.
She has the goods — that’s true, but will she flaunt them? Probably not. Can she work them? Probably not either. Well, at least not as well as Jessica or the rest of the angels. Do you agree, or do you think otherwise?

Speaking of Jessica, the Aussie hottie was recently spotted out and about in Miami for Art Basel while decked in an outfit that could only be labeled as extra laid-back.

She had no makeup on and wore a fitted muscle tee with some tight skinny jeans. Her accessories were also just as casual — white hi-top sneakers and a matching white bag.

It’s amazing how models can turn from the girl-next-door image to gorgeous goddesses, isn’t it? Jessica herself actually looks like any other girl in these photos.
As for her sporty kicks, those are obviously a pair of Converse Chuck Taylor hi-tops. These shoes have a very wide following and a perfect feedback score of 5 stars at Zappos. It’s not a surprise, of course. They’re comfy and they’re such classics.

We like how Jessica styled her pair — casual but sexy. What about you? How do you wear your Chucks?
By the way, if you’re interested in the Nicholas Kirkwood booties Jessica wore on the VS runway last November, below is a black suede variant for you to consider. These shoes are certainly a lot more wearable than the neon-painted ones she slipped into:

And while we’re on the topic, check out this video featuring Victoria’s Secret’s famous angels lip-syncing to Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble.” This is part of their promotion for the show, which will air on December 10.
