Jennifer Lopez has been enjoying her summer vacation in the Hamptons after celebrating Fourth of July at the popular seaside resort a few weeks ago. She was spotted cycling and strolling at the eastern end of Long Island with her loved ones, including her friends, manager Benny Medina, son Max, and stepdaughter Violet Affleck.
The multihyphenate has been killing it this summer in terms of style. I love how she complemented the carefree yet sophisticated vibe of the Hamptons by eschewing her signature glam and refinement in favor of casual suburban looks.

From jute fisherman sandals to flip-flops, let’s see how J.Lo rides in style!
Breezy White Jumpsuit with Dior Fisherman Jute Sandals
On Thursday, July 18, Lopez was seen riding a $769 Linus bicycle in a chic all-white outfit with a flowy jumpsuit and strappy sandals.
It’s a daring choice for a bike ride, in my opinion, with its navel-deep V-shaped neckline and thigh-baring slits. The Atlas star wore a plunging nude bralette with scalloped trims underneath the breezy outfit, flaunting her toned legs and cleavage as she pedaled around the island.
While I would never wear such an airy jumpsuit for biking, I have to say I admire J.Lo’s stylish summer look. I’m relieved the flowy number avoided getting tangled in the bike chain.

In true J.Lo fashion, the Maid in Manhattan star styled the ensemble with large hoop earrings. She wore the skinny 2” Thread Hoops by Jennifer Fisher, one of her go-to jewelry brands.
She also sported her signature enormous shades, a pair of square-framed sunglasses with brown gradient lenses by Nile Eyewear, a contemporary sunglass brand known for its fashionable and cutting-edge designs.
J.Lo rocked her go-to bronzed makeup with blush and lip gloss in their natural shades. She tied her brown hair into a neat updo to prevent loose hairs from falling onto her face.

I love everything about J.Lo’s outfit, but her footwear really caught my attention. She was wearing fisherman sandals with jute flatforms, which I think are the perfect casual summer shoes.
Fisherman sandals, which date back to ancient Egypt, were typically worn by sailors, fishermen, and other people whose jobs required them to be near water. The open toes allowed quick drying and ventilation, and the caged leather design provided a solid fit.
J.Lo’s “Marine” sandals are part of Dior’s Fall 2024 Dioriviera capsule collection. A modern interpretation of fisherman sandals, these Dior shoes are made of white calfskin leather and feature a series of thick buckled straps accentuated by an embossed gold-tone CD signature on the back.
The thick rope flatforms, constructed using traditional handmade techniques, added a touch of summer flair to the ancient-style sandals.

White Overalls with Ralph Lauren Flip Flops
A few days prior, on her second wedding anniversary with Ben Affleck, J.Lo was seen taking a leisurely bike ride wearing another unusually laid-back white ensemble—this time by Ralph Lauren.
J.Lo wore the American label’s $495 overalls made with medium-weight linen-and-cotton herringbone twill from Japan. Drawing inspiration from early 20th-century workwear, they have paint splatters all over them for a worn-in appearance.
The straight leg and adjustable shoulder straps give them a comfortable, slouchy fit. At the same time, the two chest patch pockets, two front waist angled pockets, a coin pocket, and two back patch pockets provide a utilitarian touch that I like.

I find J.Lo’s ensemble very appealing because it’s relatable. I would wear it for sure, but I might swap out her form-fitting low-cut tank top underneath with something more modest.
Of course, without her go-to Jennifer Fisher hoops, this J.Lo ensemble wouldn’t be complete. Her brown hair, pulled back in a loose bun, added to the look’s easygoing attitude.
Her Ralph Lauren flip-flops, which she has been wearing frequently in the Hamptons, completed her laid-back biking look.
These thong-style slip-on flip-flops are made from vegetable-tanned cowhide leather and feature rubber tire-tread soles, EVA-padded midsoles, and “RRL” logo-debossed insoles.
