The then-27-year-old American dancer and choreographer, 18 years her junior, is best known for appearing in movies like Honey 2, Step Up 3D, and Leave It on the Floor.

In February 2019, Casper Smart revealed in an interview with Univision why he broke up with JLO in 2016. He explained that his relationship with Jennifer Lopez started as casual flirting, which quickly developed into a deeper connection.
“I was single, she was single. It started out as flirting, then became more than flirting. There was a connection. Neither of us thought it would be more than a fun time and suddenly we were spending time together, we enjoyed each other’s company, there was chemistry.”
He indicated they got along well: “I was very young, I was 23 or 24, she was 18 years older, so she was about 42 years old with two kids. But at the moment, everything just clicked. We spent every day together for a year.”

The then-45-year-old actress, author, fashion designer, dancer, producer, singer, and songwriter sported a plunging white top with matching loose-fitting pants for her lunch date. Casper looked equally relaxed in khaki pants and a black t-shirt.
