Jennifer Jason Leigh made us do a double-take as she attended the “Annihilation” premiere held at the Regency Village Theatre in California on Tuesday. “The Hateful Eight” star’s Marskinryyppy clear-strapped sandals had black heels that blended so well into the black carpet, it looked like she was just standing on her tippy-toes in some of her pictures!

Jennifer continued on with the see-through theme in her Rodarte Spring 2017 lace dress. Instead of the usual revealing panties or high-cut underwear, the 56-year-old made her sheer frock more modest by wearing bike shorts underneath. She glammed up her trend-on-trend look with jewelry pieces from Jacquie Aiche, Anna Sheffield, and IHPR.

It’s too bad that Jennifer’s Marskinryyppy “Piwi” sandals got lost in the black carpet in the pictures. Up close, they look super chic — especially with those wavy clear straps and chunky, navy velvet heels.

We previously spotted the stiletto-heeled version called the “Pawau” on Chrissy Tiegen, Shanina Shaik and Chloe Bridges.
In case you’re wondering, the shoe label Marskinryyppy gets its name from a traditional Finnish cocktail, and the brand’s shoes are all hand-crafted in a factory in Lombardy, Italy.
