George Edward Lopez, an American comedian/actor, is of Mestizo Mexican descent. Jennifer Lopez was born to Puerto Rican parents, while entertainment journalist Mario Lopez Jr. was raised in a large Catholic family of Mexican descent from Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico.

The American Idol judge was on the show to discuss her eighth studio album, A.K.A. (2014). Jimmy Kimmel translated the song I Luh Ya Papi, and J.Lo chatted with him about the other songs from the album, including “Big Booty” and “Same Girl.”

For the show’s taping, Jennifer wore a long-sleeved Balmain dress with sheer inserts. She completed the outfit with sparkling white Jimmy Choo pumps.

The Balmain sheath dress features a fitted silhouette, a jewel neckline, long sleeves, a rib-knit neckline, and cuffs.

Breaking Down Lyrics with Jimmy Kimmel

In addition to helping Jimmy Kimmel understand the lyrics of her latest hit single, Jennifer also talked about her new album and how her kids influenced it.

“Luh is short for love,” Kimmel told his audience. “But it can be confusing, especially for older people who don’t know the new lingo, the new abbreviation, so tonight, with Jennifer’s help, I’m going to try to translate the meaning of this song in a new segment called, ‘New Lyrics For Old People.’”

“I put it down for a brother like you / Give it to you right in the car that’s you,” Lopez started singing. “Now that means, ‘I would like to have sex with you in a motor vehicle,’” Kimmel translated.

“That’s right!” Lopez continued to sing, “We can first give you some of this, that’s you / And you’re all that loving that J.Lo, true.”

Jennifer Lopez’s Chic Exit from the Studio

J.Lo was stunning during the interview and turned many heads on her way out of the studio. She wore a chic Rachel Zoe Spring 2014 leather jacket and white Stella McCartney trousers.
