Nearly two decades after starring in 13 Going on 30, Jennifer Garner returns to the body-swap genre in Joseph Nichol’s latest holiday comedy movie, Family Switch.
Now streaming on Netflix, Family Switch is reminiscent of the 2003 fantasy comedy Freaky Friday, based on the 1972 novel of the same name by Mary Rodgers.
Rather than a mother and daughter exchanging bodies or a 13-year-old girl inhabiting the body of her 30-year-old self like in 13 Going on 30, every member of the Walker family switches bodies in Family Switch.

A Mysterious Transformation at Griffith Park
While visiting the Griffith Park Planetarium to witness a rare “quintuple planetary alignment,” a mysterious force strikes the family. The next day, each member of the family finds out that they are inside someone else’s body.
Architect mother Jess (Jennifer Garner) and her high school soccer star daughter CC (Emma Myers) are in each other’s bodies, while music teacher dad Bill (Ed Helms) and their teenage smartass son Wyatt (Brady Moon) have likewise exchanged bodies. Unexpectedly, their infant kid, Miles, and family dog, Pickles, switch bodies as well.

Garner’s Stunning Red Dress and Fashion Choice
Kicking off the holiday season in style, Jennifer Garner, 54, wore a festive red dress that gave off a flirtatious vibe.
Ben Affleck’s ex-wife, frequently seen flaunting her arms in sleeveless dresses and gowns, once again displayed her incredibly toned physique in a sleeveless creation.

Garner’s Take on Real-Life Body-Swap Experience
When asked if she would want to undergo a real-life body-switch experience, Garner told People, “You know what? I think my kids work so hard, and they have so much pressure on them that I could never even have imagined as a teenager myself. I’ll stay right here in my old lady body, thank you very much.”
She added that if she could switch bodies with their children, she would “switch places with Ed’s kids.”
“I want to be that little one who has a crazy look in her eyes running around in a diaper. Break out the paint and the glitter and go ham on the house.”

The striking creation featured a classic silhouette with a plunging neckline and a softly pleated floor-length skirt.
The black velvet bow accents on the shoulders and the black Chantilly lace decorating the bust area added a hint of dark glamour to the look.
