Jenna Ortega has returned to her gothic side as she promotes her upcoming movie Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Last week, she wore dark ensembles that complement the film’s enigmatic, dark fantasy theme, including a series of youthful and trendy goth clothing selections in Mexico and London!

This time, for the Venice Film Festival and London premieres of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Jenna upped the ante and opted for a high-fashion, glamorous take on the goth style.

Jenna Ortega has learned to pay homage to her new movie by dressing in ways that don’t exactly scream cosplay, unlike her goth-heavy Wednesday promo tour outfits. And I must say, I love it!

Elegantly Frightening in Harris Reed Gown and Brandon Blackwood Sandals

It is possibly my all-time favorite Jenna Ortega outfit to date! Attending the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice UK premiere, the 21-year-old actress looked stunning in a custom gown by Harris Reed, known for his gender-fluid designs and “romanticism gone non-binary” aesthetic.

Harris Reed understood the assignment and designed an exquisite gown for Jenna that combines the sophistication of haute couture with the unsettling elements of Beetlejuice. I like how they used movie references instead of going downright gothic!

The dress has a structured corseted peplum bodice with a convex neckline, lace-up back, and jutted side peplum. I’m not sure if you noticed, but up close, the bra cups and waist contribute to the overall eerie atmosphere of the clothing. They resemble eyelids, created using origami-like folding, while the inverted V-cut waist appears to be its mouth.

The teal fabric, made using full upcycled wallpaper, has a crinkled texture. Although I’m not a fan of creases as they look sloppy, in this case, I think they made sense since they added to the creepy vibe of the theme.

I adore the velvet side paneling; they provide depth and drama to the overall look. In addition, though some people dislike the black velvet opera gloves handmade by C’est Jeanne, I think they enhance the outfit’s elegant flair. It wouldn’t look as polished, in my opinion, without them.

Let’s not forget the striking jewelry that her stylist Enrique Melendez curated for her. Jenna wore pieces from the Fabergé x Beetlejuice Beetlejuice collection, created in collaboration with Tim Burton and Colleen Atwood.

She adorned her ears with $14,200 18k white gold Spiral earrings, a signature design of the jewelry label, crafted in the shape of an egg. These exquisite earrings are set with four 0.20ct. round Gemfields Mozambican rubies, black UV enamel, and 156 1.28ct. round brilliant-cut white diamonds, creating a dazzling effect. Jenna complemented them with the matching $13,600 Spiral Wrap ring, designed to resemble the Sandworm’s head. The ring, also set in 18k white gold, features one round ruby and two pear-shaped rubies, all surrounded by 69 0.59ct. white diamonds and accents of black UV enamel.

She also wore the $20,600 Spiral Bombe ring, made of 18k white gold and decorated with black UV enamel, round brilliant-cut white diamonds, and one oval Gemfields Mozambique ruby.

I adore how the striped monochrome pieces reference the movie’s Sandworms, the flooring of the afterlife hallway, and Betelguese’s famous outfit.

Her accessories didn’t stop at her jewelry. Ortega added more Beetlejuice Beetlejuice references by carrying a handbag modeled after the Winter River house featured in the film. Ozias, the same French designer behind her book-shaped bag, designed it. I get the idea, but I’m not into it, as it seemed more like a mini dollhouse.

Wearing her raven tresses sleek and straight, Ortega rounded out her ensemble with the Brandon Blackwood “Sali” sandals. They are cut from suede and have thick toe straps and buckle ankle straps.

They are distinguished by their chunky platforms and high-block heels, measuring around 3.5 inches and 5.75 inches, respectively. Ortega needed these to boost her 5’1” height.

Channeling ’80s Vamp Look in Alexander Mcqueen Blazer Dress and Le Silla Pumps

At the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice photocall held at One Marylebone, Ortega opted for a vampy 1980s look, donning a menswear-inspired blazer and matching red tights.

She opted for a structured burgundy blazer straight off Alexander McQueen’s Resort 2025 collection, which showcased aristocratic rebellion with tailored designs and bold silhouettes.

Her double-breasted burgundy blazer dress has fiery red peak lapels, a cinched waist, and ’80s bold shoulders. She donned a lacy, low-cut top underneath, and instead of wearing pants for her bottoms, she opted for opaque maroon tights.

Despite the peculiar appearance of the combo, Ortega pulled it off. This doesn’t really suit my preference, but I appreciate how the outfit embraces a stunning vampy-punk aesthetic rather than going too far in the gothic direction.

Ortega always brings something fresh to the table, so I always look forward to seeing her.

Ortega wore her raven hair in a messy ponytail to further emphasize her refined style and opted for simple accessories. She wore a few ruby rings, ruby earrings, and a tennis necklace.

Jenna paired her ensemble with red pumps for a sleek, streamlined look. She donned the Le Silla “Uma” slingback pumps, which perfectly encapsulate the daring DNA of the luxury Italian footwear brand.

They have adjustable slingback straps, 1.5-inch platforms for a comfy fit, and 5.5-inch towering stiletto heels. Her choice of heels is fantastic; they added to the ensemble’s sensual, vampire-esque feel. The 5.5-inch towering stiletto heels, paired with 1.5-inch platforms for a comfortable fit, complemented her look and gave her a significant height boost.

Standing at 4ft 11 ½ (151.1 cm) without heels, these pumps elevated Jenna Ortega to approximately 5ft 5 inches (165.1 cm), making her presence even more striking. They cost $970 at Farfetch.

Glamorous in Red Dior Gown and Jimmy Choo Heels

I initially thought Ortega veered off course when she wore a red chiffon gown to the Venice Film Festival premiere of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. But then it dawned on me that it was inspired by Lydia Deetz’s iconic red wedding gown from the first Beetlejuice film.

Ortega and her stylist Enrique Melendez had the gown custom-made by Dior, and I must say, it looked amazing! Dior, as always, never fails! Beetlejuice Beetlejuice opened this year’s Venice Film Festival, and that dress, which took 600 hours to make, was perfect for the occasion.

The floor-length gown has an open back and a heart-shaped bodice composed of layers of ruffled tulle. Thin spaghetti straps hold it in place, and the flowing skirt, with its sheer layers, falls into a voluminous A-line silhouette.

Ortega has red hotpants underneath to protect her modesty as she spins around the red carpet.

Melendez did an amazing job putting Ortega’s ensemble together, emphasizing the luxurious vibe with a few simple yet elegant pieces from the Dior Joallerie Bois de Rose collection.

Christian Dior’s love for roses is beautifully honored in this collection, where the rose stem is reimagined as a stunning abstraction, adorned with diamond thorns. Ortega wore the 18k white gold necklace, encrusted with 6.92ct. of diamonds, along with the matching bracelet, and rings crafted from 18k white and yellow gold.

Bobby Eliot, Ortega’s hairdresser, styled her raven hair into a chic updo, highlighting her beautifully contoured face with wispy bangs. Her makeup artist, Melanie Inglessis, on the other hand, used bright red lipstick, rosy blush, and smoky eyes to highlight her remarkable features.

I couldn’t get a good look at her heels, but they’re apparently by Jimmy Choo. They are crafted from red satin and have slender straps, open toes, platforms, and about 5-inch stiletto heels, giving Jenna a boost in height.

Power Dressing in Paul Smith Suit and Black Snakeskin Platform Pumps

Jenna Ortega chose to power dress for the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Venice Film Festival photocall earlier in the day. She wore a custom burgundy Paul Smith suit that complemented her new film’s creepy tone and looked appropriate for the approaching autumnal season.

The suit, skillfully tailored to highlight Jenna’s form, features an oversized wool jacket with color-blocking elements that give the traditional suit a contemporary twist.

Ortega teamed the double-breasted blazer with straight-leg pleated pants that give the illusion of longer legs. Straight-leg trousers are my personal favorite since they lengthen and streamline the figure. To further improve the appearance, I advise wearing them with heels!

Jenna did exactly that, teaming the burgundy ensemble with black snakeskin platform pumps that elevated her look.

To add extra glitz, she adorned herself with diamond rings from Effy Jewelry and Rachel Katz. She completed the look with a stunning Marli ‘Cleo’ slim slip-on necklace, valued at $12,700. Crafted from 18k white gold and featuring 1.80ct. of brilliant-cut diamonds, the necklace draws inspiration from Cleopatra, embodying her strength and power through its bold design and striking elegance.

Her custom Ozias striped bag sounded out her ensemble, obviously a nod to the iconic Beetlejuice stripes!
