There is no denying the significant impact that AMC’s ‘Mad Men’ has made on television. It thrust its stars into the limelight and proceeded to reinvent TV history in every episode for six seasons. But while it is known for its emotionally gripping stories and captivating performances, the series has also been recognized for its huge influence on fashion. Set in the 1960s, the period drama showcases vintage fashion at its finest.
At the premiere of the seventh and final season of ‘Mad Men’, January Jones and Kiernan Shipka showcased their own fabulous styles as they hit the black carpet at ArcLight Cinemas in Los Angeles.
January Jones veered away from her character Betty Draper Francis’ housewife glamour and opted for a modern look with a bit of edge in her black-and-blue dress from Roksanda Ilinčić’s Fall 2014 collection. It features a striking gold-plated belt, ruffled details, and an asymmetrical skirt. Her blonde locks were swept to one side and styled in a messy braid. The stunning actress wore minimal accessories to allow the dress to take center stage. She finished off her look with gorgeous eye makeup and a pair of black heels from Stuart Weitzman.

Kiernan Shipka displayed her style prowess once again in a pretty and age-appropriate look. She wore a jacquard dress from Nina Ricci’s Fall 2014 collection, which features long sleeves, a pleated skirt, and a gorgeous floral print. Her hair was styled in a simple ponytail, and she finished her look with pink lips, jewels from Melissa Kaye and Graziela Gems, and a pair of strappy sandals from Stuart Weitzman.
