The eerily handsome villain from season four of Stranger Things, Vecna (also known as One, Henry Creel, et cetera), may have set fans’ hearts ablaze, but we have bad news for you fangirls and boys… Jamie Campbell Bower, the actor behind the telekinetic monster, is not single.

In fact, the 33-year-old actor has been in some rather high-profile relationships over the years, including an engagement with one of his former Harry Potter co-stars.
Here is everything we know about Jamie Campbell Bower’s relationship status, both past and present.
Jamie Campbell Bower is currently dating Jess Moloney
Currently, 33-year-old Jamie Campbell Bower is dating girlfriend, Jess Moloney, a 32-year-old creative and talent agent.
Though we know little about the pair’s relationship, we do know that they have been spotted out and about together for the last two years.

Though her beau has shot into the spotlight following the success of Stranger Things 4, Jess Moloney is a career-driven sight to behold in her own right.
She co-founded Ice Studios in cooperation with fellow creative Renell Medrano, through which she manages many types of talents across the world. With offices based in both New York and London, Jess Moloney can frequently be spotted on photo and film sets around the world.

Jess Moloney’s Instagram account is a work of art, showcasing beautiful and cutting-edge photography featuring A-list stars and models alike, with artistic shots from her own daily life peppered in.
Don’t expect to see Moloney post a plethora of shots with Jamie Campbell Bower, though! The pair are rather mum about their relationship, but she does post the occasional artistic photograph of the couple together.
One example is this gorgeous photo reel, taken on the set of a Saint Laurent fashion show campaign. They look every inch the high-fashion couple!

Though Bower and Moloney don’t have a huge online presence, they still show up for one another in public. For example, Jess Moloney arrived on her boyfriend’s arm at the premiere of Stranger Things 4, adorably holding hands as the pair cruised down the red carpet.
We don’t blame them for keeping their relationship out of the spotlight. As two professionals in the entertainment industry, they know that their romance is more likely to be scrutinized, which has been the downfall of many of our favorite celebrity couples—including one of Jamie Campbell Bower’s own.
Jamie Campbell Bower was engaged to Harry Potter star Bonnie Wright
If there is anything we’ve learned about the cast of the Harry Potter films after the franchise has (technically) come to a close, it’s that the actors are still very close.
In any film franchise that features a young cast, you would assume that there are bound to be a few romances that pop up here and there, but for the most part, there was a surprisingly small amount of romance drama amongst the main cast.

However, in one crazy Harry Potter franchise crossover, Jamie Campbell Bower and Bonnie Wright got together. In fact, they were together for two years between 2010 and 2012—even getting engaged—before calling it quits.
You may be thinking, “But wait! Jamie Campbell Bower wasn’t in the Harry Potter movies!”
Oh, but he was!
While you certainly recognize Bonnie Wright as Ron’s mischievous and bold younger sister, Ginny Weasley, Jamie Campbell Bower was a bit easier to miss.

In fact, Jamie Campbell Bower didn’t appear until he made a small cameo role in the penultimate film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part One. He played the role of a young Gellert Grindelwald, the older of which was played by Johnny Depp in the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
Of course, the latter was later replaced by Mads Mikkelsen following Depp’s high-profile legal battles. [One could also argue that Colin Farrell has also played the role of Gellert Grindelwald, but we’re not trying to get too deep into the lore of the Harry Potter universe right now.]
It was on the set of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part One where Jamie Campbell Bower and Bonnie Wright first met. At the time, Bower had just turned 21, while Wright was merely 19 years old.
The fresh-faced pair first sparked romance rumors due to their closeness on set but didn’t officially confirm their relationship status until the couple showed up arm-in-arm at the BAFTAs in February of 2010.
Just one year later, in April of 2011, the young couple excitedly announced that they were engaged to be married.

“I am engaged! I’m very happy,” Bower gushed to The Daily following their official announcement. “We are [planning the ceremony], but I won’t say when and I won’t say where. Or how!”
Though the couple attempted to keep news around their romance on a need-to-know basis, perhaps they should have been more secretive about their relationship. As mentioned, the pressure of a relationship in the public eye is more than most people—celebrities or not—are able to handle.
After only a year of engagement and two years together, Jamie Campbell Bower and Bonnie Wright called it quits in June 2012.
Neither actor commented on their separation, but as with any high-profile breakup, there is always a “friend” willing to dole out information, as one of these so-called “insiders” graciously told Us Weekly following their split: “Bonnie and Jamie split a while ago. It was amicable, but things had not been going right for some time. It’s sad.”
Jamie Campbell Bower had a thing for dating his co-stars
Following his allegedly “amicable” split from Harry Potter’s Ginny Weasley, AKA actress Bonnie Wright, Jamie Campbell Bower managed to fall for another one of his co-stars in 2012.
While filming another book-to-film adaption, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (which, despite its terrible score on Rotten Tomatoes, is actually rather entertaining for a guilty pleasure-themed movie night—but back to the article!), Jamie Campbell Bower began a relationship with his on-screen love interest, Lily Collins.
You may know Lily Collins best for her work on titles such as Mirror Mirror, Okja, 90210, Emily in Paris, or Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile—or perhaps you would recognize her bold brows.

Both were 24 at the time, and things seemed to be going well for the pair for a short while… until it wasn’t.
Like many young lovers, their relationship was constantly on-again-off-again, breaking up and rekindling their romance all the way up until the end of July 2013.

Luckily, Jamie Campbell Bower’s and Lily Collins’ many breakups truly do seem amicable. After one of these splits, Bower lovingly told E! News, “Lily and I are very, very close. Very close. Always have been, always will be.”
Jamie Campbell Bower has also dated a bevy of models
A serial dater of coworkers and a model himself, it’s no wonder that Jamie Campbell Bower has dated his fair share of models and other fashion industry professionals.

Though these relationships were not as publicized as his romances with Bonnie Wright, Lily Collins, or current lady-love Jess Moloney, Jamie Campbell Bower has also dated:
- Zoe Graham, fashion designer (2007 – 2009)
- Zina Charkoplia, fashion blogger and Instagram model (2013)
- Matilda Lowther, model (2014 – 2017)
- Ruby Quilter, tattoo artist and model (2018 – 2020)
