We see a lot of neutrals, metallics, and occasionally the bold primary color on the red carpet. Still, it takes someone unique like How I Met Your Mother actress Alessandra Ambrosio to pull off a shockingly purple gown on one of fashion’s most important nights.
In June 2016, Alessandra made a soft reference to the late Prince at the 2016 CFDA Fashion Awards held in New York.

Nine years earlier, she starred with a number of other supermodels in “The Yips,” the 10th episode of the 3rd season of the American sitcom “How I Met Your Mother” that aired on November 26, 2007.
The episode centers around the main character, Barney (Neil Patrick Harris), who develops a condition called “the yips,” which is a psychological condition that affects athletes and prevents them from performing a specific skill or action. He believes that he has the yips when it comes to hitting on women and seeks help from his friends to overcome it.

In an interview regarding The Yips, Jason Segel confessed to feeling nervous while being around supermodels, particularly Heidi Klum.
In the episode, the German model says: “Ach du meine Güte, nichts klappt mehr, überhaupt gar nichts mehr, so ‘ne Scheiße!” The English translation is: “Oh my Goodness, nothing’s working anymore, absolutely nothing at all, what kinda shit”
