One thing I like about Heidi Klum is that she always has the perfect outfit for every occasion. At the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2024, she ate and didn’t leave any crumbs!
Knowing full well that the event celebrates the top choices of kids and teens, the Making the Cut host was aptly dressed, turning heads in a fun and colorful neon outfit by Dawid Tomaszewski.
Klum’s dress flawlessly embodies the signature style of the Polish art fashion designer, renowned for combining cutting-edge style with fine craftsmanship and quality.

Neon Glow Fashion Done Right
The annual awards ceremony’s slime ritual captures the essence of being a carefree child and having fun, much like Heidi Klum’s Dawid Tomaszewski dress does.
Nickelodeon executive Jay Schmalholz said of the ceremony’s signature slime element, “Slime embodies everything it means to be a kid. I relate it to this: When a kid sees a puddle, their first instinct is to jump into it. When an adult sees a puddle, their instinct is to walk around it. But the kid in all of us really wants to jump into it. It became this rite of passage for any kid growing up back then and even today — everybody wants to be slimed.”
Klum’s dress is fun and youthful, with thousands of vibrant multicolored tassels in green, pink, purple, red, and silver hues covering everything from the halter neckline down to the floor-length skirt.

Naturally, the longtime AGT judge had to twirl and move her body to showcase the dress’s artistic design and make the most of the fringe detail, and I love that!
Although it’s pretty shapeless, Klum managed to pull it off admirably, which didn’t surprise me—after all, she’s a supermodel. Moreover, the backless design gave the appearance more flair.
Klum was at the ceremony to co-present the Favorite Female Voice from an Animated Movie to Anna Kendrick of Trolls Band Together. She later made her way back to the stage to pick up the orange blimp for Favorite Reality TV Show for America’s Got Talent, which she co-hosts with Simon Cowell, Howie Manel, and Sofia Vergara.

Fun and Playful Accessories to Match
I prefer to keep my accessories neutral to avoid competing with the colors of my outfit. But for Klum? She occasionally overdoes it, but she still manages to look amazing.
At the Kid’s Choice Awards, Klum, styled by the renowned team of Mariel Haenn and Rob Zangardi, donned an assortment of whimsical pink and gold jewelry by Melissa Kaye.
The New York City-based jewelry designer is known for her stylish, modern, yet classic creations, and Klum’s jewelry serves as proof of the brand’s signature aesthetic. She put on some geometric earrings and, well, pink rings to decorate her pink-manicured hands, created by Kimmie Kyees!
Heidi wore three different 18k gold rings: the $8,950 “Riley” swirly ring in pink enamel with 18k gold and 1.62 carats of diamonds, the $6,650 “Audrey” 18k gold eternity band with 1.05 carats of diamonds and pink enamel, and the $20,550 “Aria Jane” 18k gold ring with 4.44 carats of diamonds.

I think classic white or silver shoes would have perfectly complemented Klum’s colorful outfit. But since she never does anything ordinary, I didn’t find it surprising that she decided to wear metallic pink shoes to complement the concept of her look and accentuate its feminine charm!
She opted for the $298 Black Suede Studio “Brea” mules made in Brazil from metallic dusty mauve leather. They have a pointed, open-toe vamp and a cushioned footbed perched atop a 3.94-inch slim stiletto heel, boosting her already impressive 5’9” height. Jodie Turner-Smith wore the same mules in June at the press tour for The Acolyte.

Flirty Glam and Hairstyle
I think a dash of flirty glam is the best way to finish off a fun and playful appearance! Lorenzo Martin styled Klum’s hair into her signature layered loose waves; her curtain bangs perfectly framing her exquisitely applied makeup.
Leah Darcy accentuated Klum’s hazel eyes with shimmering champagne eyeshadow, brown eyeliner, and fluttery eyelashes. For the finishing touches, she put a slight peach blush on her cheeks and a sheer lip color.
