Halle Berry won’t let anyone rain on her parade, especially when enjoying herself.

The Catwoman actress recently posted a picture of herself on a balcony, drinking a glass of wine and completely nude.

Berry wrote, “I do what i wanna do. 💋 happy Saturday.”

While most comments were supportive, including positive feedback from Kelly Rowland, Jenna Dewan, Halle Bailey, Rapper Saweetie, and Meagan Good, some criticized the 56-year-old star for posting nude pictures at her age.

One Twitter user, in particular, wrote in a now-deleted tweet, “Imagine being in your 50s, still posting nudes for attention in menopause when you should be chilling with the grandkids.”

The online troll added, “Aging with dignity is no longer a thing.”

But Berry was quick to shut down the troll with a witty response. The Academy Award winner wrote, “Did you guys know the heart of a shrimp is located in its head?”

Though she later removed the comment, it’s clear that Berry was unfazed by the criticism.

She later tweeted, “This week is going to be filled with blessings ✨ Let’s speak it now,” showing that she wouldn’t let the negativity get to her.

The James Bond actress has encountered her fair share of online haters, but she never fails to stand up for herself with a quick and witty retort.

When Berry posted a quote on Instagram in February 2021 that read: “Women don’t owe you s**t,” many haters seemed to take offense to the message and questioned her lack of marriage and ability to keep a man.

One user said, “Says the women who can’t keep a man,” Berry responded by asking, “Who says I wanna keep the wrong man? Cuz… I don’t.”

Another troll pointed out, “With all of your accomplishments, fame, beauty, it seems, as if, you CAN’T keep a man,” to which the X-Men star responded, “Who said I wanted to keep them? I’m all about living your best life, if you make a wrong move, course correct and re-spin and start again!”

Meanwhile, despite what the trolls say, Berry is unlikely to stop sharing what she wants on social media, and with good reason.

Last month, Berry showcased her practice of self-love in her everyday routine by posting a series of topless photos on her Instagram.

The two steamy mirror selfies showed her just out of a shower, her hands placed across her breasts, and her iconic curls styled in a side-parted look.

She captioned the sexy photos, “hump day self love 🤍.”

As a Hollywood icon and a woman who has defied age and stereotypes time and again, Berry knows a thing or two about the power of embracing one’s age.

In a January 2022 interview with AARP, she said, “We’re all going to get older. Our skin is going to shrivel up, and we’re going to look different.”

She continued, “I see things changing with my face and body, but I’ve never put all my eggs in that basket. I’ve always known that beauty is deeper than the physical body you’re walking around in.”

In her own words, “I refuse to become someone who just tries to hold on to a youthful face and not embrace what’s most important about being beautiful – how you live your life, how you give back to others, how you connect to people, how you strengthen your mind, body, and soul and nourish yourself, how you give in a meaningful way of yourself.”
