We’ve seen Hailey Baldwin in tons of earthy tones, but — short of when she steps out in neon workout gear — we rarely see her in bright colors. The model finally stepped outside her comfort zone and donned a bright color as she attended the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and Vogue’s Fashion Fund Awards.

The young Baldwin debuted a tangerine carpet look as she arrived at the fashionable event in New York. Zendaya wore an off-the-shoulder Michael Kors gown to the event.

Hailey wore a sheer tangerine creation from Baja East’s Spring 2017 collection, which had gorgeous contrast tassels at the sleeves and a ridiculously high slit.
The then-19-year-old wore her dress with the “Diamond Shaker” hoop earrings, “Turquoise Marquise” ring, “Heart Signet” ring, and the “Pave Diamond” ring, all by Jacquie Aiche. Hailey finished her look with red-orange Brian Atwood “Marella” patent pumps. Other celebrity fans of these shoes include Julianne Hough and Elizabeth Banks.

Our verdict? Hailey nailed this look. We love how she used neutral makeup shades to avoid a total orange overload.
