Gwen Stefani’s fifth album, Bouquet, is now in full bloom. The former No Doubt lead singer is currently in New York City, appearing on radio stations to discuss her just-released album, which dropped on Friday, November 15.

The 10-track record is her first album in seven years. It explores the themes of personal growth, love, and motherhood.

“Bouquet represents a blend of everything that I’ve ever been and who I’ve evolved into,” Stefani said of her new album. “Each song was picked like individual flowers to create a bouquet of the past, the present, and the seed of hope for the future.”

Ironically, Stefani chose to promote her latest album sans any vibrant garden hues or blooming flowers. Instead, she embraced her unique, eclectic, and fun style, which often combines nostalgia for the 1990s with rock, pop, and punk elements. I honestly miss this Y2K look on Gwen!

Gwen Stefani Rocks Rebellious Chic With L.A.M.B. Tee and One Teaspoon Mini Skirt

For her appearance on Z100, Stefani went with her typical rebellious style mixed with punk-rock edge and seductive flair, reminiscent of the early aughts.

She paraded her legs in the $138 “Sloane” denim mini skirt by One Teaspoon, an Australian cult label known for its rebellious, vintage rock ‘n’ roll glamour styles. Stefani’s classic black denim mini skirt, faded and somewhat worn-in, clearly represents the brand’s fashion philosophy. It is grungy, low on the waist, and features cargo flap pockets.

Gwen teamed the thigh-skimming skirt with a white graphic tee from her fashion line, L.A.M.B., which ICYDK created in 2003. It’s an acronym for her debut solo album, Love. Angel. Music. Baby.

It has been a while since I’ve seen Gwen Stefani wear her brand, so it’s great to see her do it again. It also appears that L.A.M.B. has shifted its focus to eyeglasses since 2015.

Despite its simplicity, I think the combo works well because it’s stylish and relatable, not to mention just right for a radio appearance.

Layering for Fall: Gwen Stefani Adds Cozy Staples to Her Edgy Look

By adding fall and winter essentials, Gwen, richer than her husband Blake Shelton, elevated the casual combination into a fashionable look fit for the cooler months.

She layered her white cropped tee underneath a furry black-and-white jacket from luxury streetwear label RTA Brand’s Fall 2017 collection. I love how she draped one side over her arm for a stylish look.

She added knee-high boots and fishnets as accessories, giving the ensemble a daring and alluring vibe. While boots hint at toughness, fishnets give the outfit a seductive finish.

Gwen’s choice of Dolce & Gabbana boots added to the outfit’s daring and modern appeal. Made in Italy from sleek black satin, these $1,645 boots have pointed toes, interior side zips, and the DG logo detail on the 4-inch metal heels. They clearly enhanced Stefani’s 5’6″ height.

Glam Additions: Fishnets, Designer Boots, and Luxe Accessories

A maximalist dresser, Gwen Stefani layered several gold necklaces around her neck, including a collar chain necklace and a long pendant necklace.

She then hid her eyes behind a pair of white Vivienne Westwood “Judy” sunglasses with a rectangular frame made of pearlized acetate. The British label’s iconic miniature orb motifs are engraved at the temples, and pearl detailing has become the brand’s signature style.

Gwen, who identifies with the Japanese culture, wore a hime haircut to reference her Harajuku era. This hairstyle, which means “princess,” is distinguished by blunt, cheek-length face-framing side locks and long, straight hair in the back. It’s a challenging hairstyle to pull off, but she looks amazing with it.
