Please leave it to Gwen Stefani to make black and grey look glamorous! The front woman of the ska band No Doubt was spotted early today wearing dark hues, leaving a nail salon in Burbank, California.

It looked like Gwen dropped her usual bright clothes in exchange for relaxed, monotone ones for a day of pampering. Distressed dark jeans, an oversized black jacket– even her bag was dark! On her, though, the clothes aren’t even the tiniest bit gloomy!

Perhaps it was the way she styled them, choosing a mix of materials and swiping on her signature red lipstick.
But we’d like to think that the black and white scarf around her neck gave the outfit that fashionable push. It was that one bright element, and using it as her major accessory showed her genuine flair for fashion.

It gave us a great idea of how to wear this YARNZ scarf we’ve had our eye on for a while now.
