Kylie Minogue, Brit Awards 2024 Global Icon, rightfully closed out the evening with an epic medley performance, surprising everyone with her greatest hits and four outfit changes throughout the ceremony.
Years may have passed, but Kylie Minogue still maintains her legendary stature in the music and fashion industries. Her thrilling performances, captivating songs, and impeccable style sense have all had a long-lasting influence on pop culture.
I was ecstatic to see Minogue step it up this year at the Brit Awards with her boundary-pushing music and sense of style. Let’s see Kylie’s gorgeous black Alexandre Vauthier gown on the red carpet and her stunning Dolce & Gabbana stage ensembles.
Black Ruffled Gown: A Fusion of Sexiness and Sophistication
She’s 55, and she still has it! Kylie Minogue made a bold statement on the Brit Awards 2024 red carpet by teasing some flesh, proving that age is just a number.
The Neighbours star looked stunning in a bespoke black Alexandre Vauthier gown with a strapless velvet bodice and a quirky asymmetric pannier-style ruffled skirt that tapered towards the bottom.
The unique silhouette of the gown drew me in right away. Simple up top but party on the bottom, it strikes the ideal balance between flirty and sophistication, which I think can catch attention immediately.

Although I find the gown’s quirky silhouette fascinating, I must say I disapprove of the styling.
The dress had a dangerous hip-high slit on both sides, which was a recipe for a wardrobe disaster. Minogue had black tights underneath for some coverage, but I think a nude pair would have created a more radiant appearance.
Moreover, even though her black suede Jimmy Choo “Saeda” heels added a romantic touch to the ensemble, I thought it didn’t work well with her 5’0” height as the crystal-encrusted ankle straps gave the impression that her legs were cut off.

Michelle Yeoh wore blue Jimmy Choo Saeda pumps at the Film Independent Spirit Awards, Diane Kruger wore them in pink at the 2021 Met Gala, and Mariah Carey also wore them for Victoria’s Secret’s 2023 Holiday Campaign.
I would have preferred it if she had worn the gown with classic pointed-toe shoes to elongate her appearance. Anyhow, if you’re interested in Minogue’s shoes, they retail for $900 at Mytheresa and $1,095 at Jimmy Choo.

I love Kylie’s choice to go minimal with jewelry, so her eccentric dress can be the main attraction. She donned a bracelet, a ring, and a pair of diamond drop earrings, leaving her neck bare.
The Street Fighter actress styled her sandy blonde tresses down in tousled waves cascading around her shoulders, wispy bangs skimming her eyebrows.
I like how she used smoky eyeshadow and thick eyeliner to draw attention to her blue eyes while soft makeup emphasized the rest of her features.

Kylie Minogue Receives Best Pop Act Honor in Sheer Black Cape
Having worked in the industry for over 30 years, touching the lives of millions of people with her music, Kylie Minogue has always been considered one of the best musicians of all time.
She holds the Guinness World Record for Most Consecutive Decades with a No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart: 1980s (Enjoy Yourself; Kylie), 1990s (Greatest Hits), 2000s (Fever), 2010s (Step Back in Time – The Definitive Collection; Golden; Aphrodite), and 2020s (Disco; Tension).
The Grammy winner also became the first female artist to have reached the top ten of the UK Singles Chart from the 1980s to the 2020s after Padam Padam hit the top 10 in June 2023.
On Saturday, Minogue was duly recognized at the Brit Awards 2024 with the Global Icon Award, presented by Best Pop Act winner Dua Lipa.
“The thing that really gets me is a love of music and connection with people,” she said in her speech before thanking her team and everyone who’s been a part of her journey.
Minogue looked majestic as she wore a sheer black cape over a white dress. I like the large rosette at the neck, as it gives the ensemble a fun, feminine touch.

Kylie Minogue Closes Out the Brit Awards Ceremony in Dolce & Gabbana Dresses
True to her moniker as the Princess of Pop, Minogue brought the house down on Saturday by performing a medley of her greatest hits, including the 2023 smash summer anthem Padam Padam, Can’t Get You Out of My Head from 2001, Love at First Sight from 2002, and All the Lovers from 2010.
I thought it was amazing how Kylie quickly switched between three bespoke Dolce & Gabbana clothes during her breathtaking Brit Awards 2024 performance, shocking the audience.
Ravishing in a Shiny Red Trench Coat
Minogue started her closing performance with Padam Padam, dressed in a vibrant red latex trench coat that echoed her look in the music video.
Although the Brit Awards snubbed Padam Padam, Minogue dazzled the audience with her spectacular performance of the viral 2023 summer song, which saw her tower above the stage on an elevated platform. I must say, I’m very impressed.

I could immediately spot Minogue in her shiny red latex coat, which was adorned with large silver buttons, a waist tie, and structured cap sleeves.
I appreciate her decision to forgo jewelry to keep the focus on her outfit and performance.

Edgy in a Studded Black and White Gown
Descending from the platform, Kylie Minogue transitioned into a different attire for her next song, Can’t Get You Out of My Head.
She removed her red coat and revealed a sensual one-shoulder black dress as she joined her masked backup dancers, who donned black cloaks.
I adore how the contrasting white trim and silver stud accents gave the seductive number a tough-chic edge.

The daring hip-high side slits were another exciting feature that I thought was an excellent addition to the ensemble since they allowed Kylie to move and show off her dancing skills freely.
I also like how the slits offered a clear view of her Pretty Woman-esque thigh-high boots. They provided the outfit a seductive touch and an air of confidence and empowerment.

Enchanting in a Sheer White Gown
As she transitioned into her last two songs of the night, Love at First Sight and All the Lovers, Kylie swiftly removed her one-shoulder gown to reveal a barely there white bodysuit with thin black stripe accents and sheer skirt panels that flowed around her.
Though revealing, I thought Kylie pulled it off effortlessly, which says a lot about her stage presence.
It featured a skintight bodice with a halter neck, embroidered sheer panels, and a flowy skirt with dangerously high slits.
