Gigi Hadid gave new meaning to the hashtag “I woke up like this” when she stepped out in NYC recently. She was photographed leaving her apartment and heading to the new Stuart Weitzman headquarters wearing an emerald silk pajama set from Morgan Lane, which she styled with barely-there sandals from Stuart Weitzman. It looks like we won’t be seeing the end of the pajama trend soon judging from Gigi’s recent street style look.
The 21-year-old model wore the “Peacock Ruthie Top” from Morgan Lane (available for $350 at Spring), which is crafted from striped silk charmeuse. It features embroidered details with bead and sequin embellishments in addition to two front pockets, Mother of Pearl buttons and contrast piping. Instead of the quilted peacock appliqué, Gigi’s name was embroidered in cursive on the chest pocket.
The model paired her top with the “Peacock Chantal Pant,” which is available for $238 at Spring. It features printed stripe silk charmeuse, a drawstring waist, contrast stripe cuff and a loose fit.
The Victoria’s Secret Angel styled her hair in a low braid, with soft tendrils framing her makeup-free face. She finished off her look with eyeglasses from Garrett Leight and white ankle-strap heels from Stuart Weitzman.
