It looks like Fergie is quite fond of the scarf belt.

When she was pregnant, we spotted the Black Eyed Peas singer wearing a printed scarf as a hip-cincher to disguise her baby bump. A few months after giving birth, it looks like Fergie still can’t get enough of her scarf, belt, and sash.

Yesterday, Fergie was spotted Christmas shopping at James Pearce in Beverly Hills. For the holiday errand, the stylish mom stepped out in full fashion, pairing a fringed scarf belt with her leather skinnies and a checkered shirt.

She let the ends of the belt hang like ribbon sashes. Strands of leather also hung with the “belt,” and they were (honestly) a little distracting.

On top of the accouterments, Fergie also wore a pair of animal print ankle-strap pumps.

What do you think of the outfit Fergie put together? Is it a hit or a miss?

We agree; her look is certainly unique. But you know what? We like it! It’s different and very original, and she carries it with flair. Do you think you could pull off the same combo and rock it with confidence?

To achieve Fergie’s look, you’ll need a lightweight patterned scarf with fringe trimming. If you prefer, eyelash trimming can work, too, though it will create a less dramatic effect.

The leathery fringes on Fergie’s belt can be easily recreated with a bit of DIY. Grab some black jersey fabric and cut it into thin strips. Once you’ve done that, wrap them around the belt, and voila! You’re all set!
