Kiernan Shipka is the daughter of John Young Shipka, who is of Bohemian/Czech, German, English, and Scottish descent, and Erin Ann (née Brennan), who is of Irish and Italian descent.
Proving that the US is a melting pot, she can trace her roots to many countries in Europe. Kiernan’s parents, who relocated to Los Angeles from Chicago when their daughter was six to support her acting career, prefer to stay out of the limelight.

In September 2015, the then 15-year-old actress proved her fashion prowess while attending various fashion shows throughout New York Fashion Week.
The young actress attended the Delpozo fashion show wearing, of course, an entire outfit from the Madrid-based luxury fashion brand’s Fall 2015 collection.

She couldn’t be missed in a playful dress comprised of a neon green long-sleeved turtleneck and a navy A-line skirt that featured crystal-embellished striped panels.

A one-of-a-kind pair of Delpozo sandals with architectural ruffled metallic trim completed her outfit.

She finished off her look with a sleek center-parted updo and with light makeup that highlighted her facial features.

The “Mad Men” star was spotted out and about later that day in the Big Apple wearing a completely different outfit.

She opted for a simple but cute and age-appropriate floral dress that fell a little above her knees.

Kiernan styled the oriental-inspired frock with a gray crossbody bag and a pair of low-wedge pumps from Chiko Shoes.

Kiernan left her hair and makeup unchanged but concealed her eyes behind a pair of cat-eye sunglasses.

Kiernan’s shoes are the “Marissa” by Chiko Shoes. They are made of leather and feature pointed toes, a fringe effect, and about 3.5-inch low wedge heels with rubber soles.
