A few days ago, Lorraine Schwartz confirmed that she designed Lady Gaga’s 6-carat diamond ring from Taylor Kinney. It is engraved with a “T <3 S” inscription. The “S” represents Gaga’s real name, Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta.
According to Zaven Ghanimian, the CEO of Simon G Jewelry, the engagement ring costs around $400,000.
“Lady Gaga’s center stone is a heart-shaped diamond, approximately 6 carats,” he told E! News. “I would estimate at least SI1 clarity or better, G color or better. For a stone of this size and quality, the price could be up to $400,000. The setting looks to be a simple solitaire with pavé diamonds down the side.”
Lady Gaga flew to Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon in preparation for her performance at the Oscars this weekend. Gaga has been dressing in regular clothes since the start of her jazz era, but yesterday might be the most normal she’s ever looked.
