In October 2017, after a year of discussions, designer Nicolas Ghesquière successfully brought actress Emma Stone on board as a brand ambassador for Louis Vuitton.

This partnership marked Stone’s first major collaboration with a luxury fashion house. To subtly announce the alliance, Stone appeared at the London premiere of “Battle of the Sexes” wearing a white gown with silver embroidery from Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2018 collection.

Reflecting on her new role, Stone expressed enthusiasm about the opportunities it presented, including attending fashion shows and collaborating on custom red-carpet looks.

She told W Magazine, “We’re all together as a team, discussing, for example, how to approach awards season. It’s fun to have a plan, to start creating a story with someone like Nicolas. Creatively, it’s such an opportunity.”

Ghesquière, who had envisioned Stone as a muse since his arrival at Louis Vuitton in 2013, praised her unique style, stating, “What I love about you, Emma, is your ability to balance. You have this femininity and, at the same time, a boyish side that’s supercool and inspiring.”
