Emma Stone disappointed fashion critics with her menswear-inspired look at the 2018 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday in Hollywood. She was joined by Whoopi Goldberg, Gal Gadot, Saoirse Ronan, Jennifer Lawrence, Blanca Blanco, Allison Williams, and Sofia Carson.
The 29-year-old actress, who won the Best Actress Oscar last year for her work in ‘La La Land’, hit the red carpet in a horrid Louis Vuitton pantsuit featuring a red blazer that was cinched at the waist with a pink bow. She styled her silky suit with sparkly drop earrings and pointy-toe ankle-strap pumps. Her color-clashing ensemble was styled by Petra Flannery. Do you think Emma should hire a new stylist from Trunk Club or Stitch Fix?

Last Friday, Emma also attended an event presented by Women in Film at Crustacean in Los Angeles. She once again did not impress in a sheer tulle bow accented blouse from the Givenchy Pre-Fall 2018 collection. She toted a Louis Vuitton bag and completed her ensemble with Repossi jewelry and pointy-toe heels.

Earlier this year, Emma also turned heads when stepping out for Marie Claire’s 3rd Annual Image Makers Awards. While not visible due to the length of her organic silk Louis Vuitton gown, she sported a lovely pair of ‘Last Dance’ sandals from the same fashion house. The design is enhanced by a delicate Monogram flower cut-out at the back.
Her dress was produced in a family-run mill in the Como region of Italy. “The mill has a long term sustainability program, committing to transparent supply chains and achieving zero hazardous chemical pollution,” Eco Age founder and creative director Livia Firth wrote on Instagram. “The organic silk is certified to a standard that guarantees the highest environmental and social standards every step of the way.”
