The upcoming Barbie movie has assembled an incredible cast, and it’s no surprise that some of our favorite stars have taken on the iconic roles of Barbie and Ken.
Among them are Emma Mackey and Ncuti Gatwa, known for their roles as Maeve Wiley and Eric Effiong in Netflix’s hit series Sex Education.

Their friendship was displayed at the European premiere of Barbie, held at the Cineworld Leicester Square in London on Wednesday.
The duo was photographed together, showcasing their strong bond as they laughed and exchanged affectionate glances throughout the night.

But they didn’t just steal the show with their chemistry. They also made striking appearances on the red carpet, living up to the glamour of the Barbie promo tour.
Emma Mackey opted for a more low-key yet equally captivating vibe, wearing a mesmerizing Saint Laurent gown, going braless for the star-studded evening.
Her silk-satin ivory maxi dress was liquid-like, draping flawlessly and featuring a plunging neckline that accentuated her gorgeous figure, making her a sight to behold.

To complete the ensemble, the 27-year-old actress chose the exquisite Saint Laurent Georgia sandals in crepe satin with rhinestones.
These stunning shoes boasted of an almond toe, a covered comma stiletto heel, and a rhinestone ankle strap, perfectly matching the shimmering elegance of her outfit.
However, Mackey’s fashion statement didn’t end there. Her jewelry game was jaw-dropping, as she adorned herself with a staggering £194,500 worth of Cartier pieces.

With her brown hair styled in loose waves, cascading gracefully over her shoulders, and radiant makeup that added a touch of ethereal charm, the French-British beauty exuded elegance from head to toe.

Meanwhile, Ncuti Gatwa made sure all eyes were on him with his equally impressive fashion choices.
The 30-year-old actor showcased his signature style with a custom Valentino ensemble that left a lasting impression. His outfit featured high-waisted sparkling silver hotpants, accentuating his long, slender legs.
Gatwa paired them with a long-sleeved structural white top featuring a front cut-out, offering glimpses of his toned abs. Adding an extra layer of sophistication, he donned an elegant cape that cascaded down to the floor.

Gatwa playfully acknowledged his friendship with Mackey in an Instagram Story post, sharing a photo of the two with the caption, “She a ten so she pull in a Ken.”
While Mackey and Gatwa have won hearts with their performances in Sex Education, they are now venturing into the enchanting world of Barbie as part of the movie’s star-studded cast.
Mackey is set to portray a brilliant Barbie with a “Nobel Prize in physics,” while Gatwa makes his Hollywood debut as one of the many Kens in the film.
