Emily Ratajkowski reminded us all why Versace ruled the 1990s. The supermodel made a splash at the MET Gala when she stepped out in a beaded carnival-inspired dress from the Versace archives.

The dress – originally part of the spring/summer 1992 – was debuted on the runway by Yasmeen Ghauri.
This carnival-inspired dress is all about showing skin, from its halter neck to the dramatic train with almost every inch covered in bead embellishments.

“I’m very, very happy to be wearing this look. I feel very lucky,” she told red carpet livestream hosts Vanessa Hudgens and Hamish Bowles.
Ratajkowski kept the rest of her accessories low-key, opting for drop earrings from Reza and a pair of open-toe metallic gold heels called Sophie from Giuseppe Zanotti. They’ve unfortunately sold out at Farfetch.

The NY Times best-selling author also shared a few behind-the-scenes images of her preparing for the gala.
She captioned the post: “A huge thank you to the entire @versace team for finding this dream Gilded Glamour look from their archive and to @donatella_versace for having me. Grazie! I am so grateful! It was an honor to wear these iconic and beautiful pieces.”
Did the dress scream ‘gilded age?’. We’re not sure. While we got a lesson on Versace history, it may have been 100 years after the event’s gilded age theme.

A few days later, Emily was pictured in another flesh-baring look as she headed to Variety’s 2022 Power of Women event.
The My Body author showed a glimpse of her big boobs and toned stomach in a see-through netted turtleneck top, which she wore over a black bra and a pair of low-rise skinny trousers with a split hem.

She kept the look sleek by skipping the jewelry and simply accessorizing it with open-toe black heels. Her brown tresses were then styled into a sleek center-parted updo with two strands framing her gorgeously made-up face.
The iCarly star wore brown smokey eyeshadow with winged eyeliner and finished off her look with peachy blush and nude lipstick.
