Although Emily Blunt looks gorgeous in any color, red brings out her best features. Her awards season wardrobe has been nothing short of stunning. However, her romantic red Armani gown from last month’s Critics’ Choice Awards is still my favorite—that is, until I saw her most recent plunging red gown from Louis Vuitton at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
I couldn’t help but marvel over how fabulous she looked in yet another red gown, this time from Louis Vuitton. Her Tiffany & Co. jewelry was the perfect finishing touch to her stunning ensemble.
Despite losing to Da’Vine Joy Randolph in the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role category, Blunt was undoubtedly one of the biggest winners on the red carpet.

An Iconic Moment With Co-stars and a Win for ‘Oppenheimer’
Emily Blunt later took to the stage alongside her The Devil Wears Prada co-stars, Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep, to present Jeremy Allen White with the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series award. Afterward, she and her Oppenheimer co-stars were crowned the winners of the Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture award.
The Young Victoria actress dazzled as she ascended the steps in her flaming red gown—which Nicolas Ghesquiere, the creative director of Louis Vuitton, designed especially for her.
Aside from its powerful and alluring color, what I adore most about this dress is its flattering silhouette that draws attention to the physique and empowers the wearer to confidently display her contours, exemplified by Emily Blunt.

The Dress That Stole the Show
The gorgeous red crepe and tulle trompe l’oeil dress had a halter neck strap, an open back, and a daring wide, plunging neckline that reached her navel. It appeared to be an open-front cutout, but a closer look revealed that it was covered with a translucent mesh fabric that precisely matched Blunt’s skin tone, which I find interesting.
The bold cutaways created an alluring look, while the sweeping skirt and short train offered balance and grace.
Blunt surprisingly wore her red dress with nude open-toe heels, although I think a red pair would have made a more fitting choice for a monochromatic finish.

Accessorizing With Elegance: Tiffany & Co. Jewelry
Even though I don’t think the gorgeous dress needed any more jewelry, Blunt’s gold Tiffany & Co. x Schlumberger pieces, curated by stylist Jessica Paster, offered a classy and sophisticated touch.
Her wrists were adorned with the $24,000 Elsa Peretti Medium Bone Cuff in 18k gold, while a pair of Diamond Cluster earrings were fastened to her ears. At the same time, her neck was encircled with the Petal Fringe Necklace in 18K yellow gold and platinum set with 152 round brilliant diamonds totaling 6 carats.
She completed her sparkling accessories with the $6,700 Rope Two-Row Ring in 18k gold and platinum with 0.30-carat round brilliant diamonds and the $34,300 Vigne Ring in 18k gold and platinum with 2-carat marquise diamonds and 0.65-carat round brilliant diamonds.

Hairstyle and Makeup: The Finishing Touches
Hairstylist Laini Reeves gave Emily Blunt a classic-modern look with voluminous romantic waves using Fekkai hair products, taking inspiration from the iconic hairstyle of 1940s actress Veronica Lake.
She styled her hair by parting it low on the side and making it look flat on her head with a comb and hairdryer. After that, she used a flat iron and curled the hair from the hairline to the neck, smoothing out the waves with a bristle brush and adding some final touches by tucking the hair behind her ears.
Jenn Streicher used Charlotte Tilbury products to give the actress a delicate and understated makeup look, which I think was ideal for highlighting her gorgeous crimson dress and sparkling jewelry.

Casual Elegance: A Polka Dot Dress by Dolce & Gabbana
Just days before the SAG Awards, Emily Blunt dropped by the Jimmy Kimmel Live with her co-stars Robert Downey Jr. and Cillian Murphy to discuss Oppenheimer and their Oscar nominations.
On her way to the studio, Blunt was seen sporting a polka-dot dress with white sneakers, which struck me as vintage.
She opted for the $4,395 black and white polka dot dress from Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection, cut from pleated chiffon with a plunging halter neckline tied around the neck.

The sleeveless number also featured a sexy open-back design and a bow-accented satin waistband that flowed into an ankle-length skirt with a stretch silk crepe de chine underskirt.
Blunt accessorized her feminine, carefree summer ensemble with sterling silver pieces from Tiffany & Co. x Elsa Peretti. She wore the $1,000 Cabochon ring with a rock crystal, the Teardrop earrings, and the Doughnut bangle.
Her shiny blonde tresses were styled in waves with a side parting, while her striking features were enhanced with soft pink makeup.
